I've done this 3 times. I had tremendous luck the 2nd time growing a 6ftR and leaving the pump on through the whole grow. Is there any neg or pos to turning it on or off after the roots hit the water.

If true, which I read that C02 in crucial for fast plant growth then would it be good to put some dry ice in a bowl in the box/grow area? Wouldn't the melting of the dry ice create a C02 rich environment?

I cleaned my aerogarden for the first time last night. It took the filter off of the pump to clean and noticed that there is a dial with like 1-5 on it. It was set on 2, so I left it. Does anyone know what this is for? Is it for pump speed? Does it matter? thanks
