Can I use these Drivers to power DIY COBs?

Just a follow up, 140w of COBs (35w x4) running at about half their rated wattage, which equals higher efficiency or more light per watt, I am yielding pretty good results. I just pulled an estimated 5oz off of 2 Sour Crack that were brought to flower with kinda working blurples, then changed...

Can I use these Drivers to power DIY COBs?

That's okay, I used one driver per COB - I put 4 in each 2x4 tent. Plants are loving it compared to the blurples. Yeah, I did a bit more research and found that that'd be way too much light for my space. I'm running ~140w per tent now with those 1812s and getting all kinds of crystals on my...

Can I use these Drivers to power DIY COBs?

Thanks a lot! I went ahead and bought 8 Citizen 1812s, and will be building them up once they arrive!

Can I use these Drivers to power DIY COBs?

Bad ass. I'm trying to do some homework on which COBs I should buy for the best coverage over 4 auto flowers in 2 2'x4'x6' tents (2 per tent). Do you think I'd be better off to try to run 2 32-36v COBs off of each driver or use a single 50+v? If my understanding is correct, I'll use roughly...

    Question about drivers

Yeah, I hate it when I'm typing about one thing and thinking about another, and I accidentally type what I was titties.

Can I use these Drivers to power DIY COBs?

As shown in the picture. I have 30 something of these that all work from ViparSpectra type lights with burned out panels. Can I save money by using these to power COBs? If so, where can I start looking for information on everything I'll need? Thanks!

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - First grow, DWC/LED closet.

The bigger pair are really blowing up!!! lots of bud sites, and so many leaves that I worry they're blocking some of the light. Should I be pruning or cleaning these up in some way? Also, some of the larger leaves are starting to turn yellowish. Is this a sign of a deficiency? (Last photos...

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - First grow, DWC/LED closet.

Good call. I was at 1/4 up until last night. I'll take out some of the water and replace it with clean PH'd water. Thanks for responding and taking an interest! Your input has been very helpful.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - First grow, DWC/LED closet.

The small ones have half the recommended on all my nutes. the larger two, I upped to the recommended doses for early veg, and they seem to be enjoying it. Since it's only a couple of leaf blades, I'm gonna see how it looks tomorrow. If it's gotten worse or shows no improvement, I'll adjust...

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - First grow, DWC/LED closet.

Will do! They're looking pretty good today, but the second smallest one has two leaf blades that have a little curling on the ends, and they're very soft. About to check my ph/ppm in a sec. I may have upped things too much when I changed the water the other day. it's a couple of the bigger...

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - First grow, DWC/LED closet.

Actually, I've definitely caused a little trauma to the taproot on the smallest one. Probably both of them. I germed them in a peat pellet, but I was worried that I had compressed the pellet too much around the root, so I ended up peeling the pellet off of the roots. Then, as soon as the root...

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - First grow, DWC/LED closet.

I've got two closet tents, each with 2 matching strain plants, but a different strain in each tent. Each plant has its own 270w draw "600W" LED, and are all running the same nutes, as shown. Water temps are just below 70. 5.7ph, 800ish ppm. I'd guess I'm around a month into these now. The...

Starting first grow LED/DWC - questions.

They're starting to peek up out of the jiffy pellets, so I've got them under lights. Humidity's only @ 25%, so I put a humidifier in the room near the tent to hopefully bring it up. One of the beans popped out of its shell, but is still curled up in the soil. Not sure if it looks good or not.

Starting first grow LED/DWC - questions.

Nice! I got some jiffy pellets today, because they were the only ones I could find. Just got my seedlings transplanted into them today. Taproot is almost an inch long on the better seeds today. I've got them in the little humidity dome now, with the veg section of my lights on them. I have...

Starting first grow LED/DWC - questions.

What bacterial enzyme are you using? I figure I was gonna let this taproot get about a quarter inch before putting these seedlings into the hydroton, and will probably want some on hand before I get to that point. That sound about right?

I also wanted to share an update. The Sour Crack seeds have both broken the shell and are peeking out a mm or two. The Skywalker don't look quite as hearty. One is peeking out just a tad, the other seed looks a little small, and like it's gonna take a little longer to sprout. Either way, I'm...

Starting first grow LED/DWC - questions.

Yeah, I asked because I've seen several threads where folks washed them, soaked them in PH balanced water for periods of time prior to transplanting. I wasn't sure if I was missing something. But we'll consider my first run and this thread as an exercise in trial and error style research...

Starting first grow LED/DWC - questions.

I've got one pump for each pair of buckets. 1 pump has 2 outlets and is rated at 7.8L per minute, the other has 4 outlets and is rated at 15L per min. I figured I'd use 4 stones with the larger pump and 2 with the smaller. That may have actually been my original thought in only ordering 6...
