Yes, veg time is important. I did not include it as a factor, but perhaps I should have. I have a separate veg room and am vegging for 4-5 weeks.

@edwardvanhalen123456 A good rule of thumb for soil grows is allotting 1 gallon of soil per 4 weeks of growth. That's at a bare minimum. Consider transferring to a larger container when you see the roots start to build up all over the sides. You should also let your soil dry out almost entirely...

Are there holes in the bottom of the cup for draining water? It looks like overwatering. It doesn't look like it's rootbound (too little time to become rootbound even under ideal grow conditions).

I agree with @bryan oconner that you need a more powerful fan. A proper fan should be able to properly cool a 1,000 watt HPS. With your setup, a proper fan will make it so that your tent is only a couple degrees higher than the ambient temperature where the tent is located.

It's hard to tell from this picture. What kind of temperatures are you recording in there? How close is your light to your plant? How often do you feed/water and do you let your growing medium dry out before re-feeding/watering?

If you don't think it's in danger of pollinating your other plant, then keep it. You can definitely do an iso wash and make a decent topical. I wouldn't recommend smoking it though.

I think a hydro setup would be more well-suited for what you are doing. I agree with @xmatox that the tent is going to leak gas more than you think. Get the hydro and save yourself some trouble :)
