Poor & Lazy Man's first grow setup (please advice)

Very creative. They look happy. Just don't rely on this setup for too long. The pots are too shallow. The lighting isn't sufficient and they will need more space above. Once you upgrade to more appropriate lighting... that tent is going to become a fire hazard if it isn't already. Good luck!

    1st steps on growing

Man... go to your local landscaping material supplier and have them deliver their grower's gold (premium top soil) and some mushroom compost. Fill your holes about 50/50 and mix it. They know exactly what you need. It will have a variety of things in it. Happy babies!

    nervous about seeds

Another idea is to have it shipped to a friend in a friendly state and have them ship it to you. Cake.

    nervous about seeds

I dont know if they allow it, but if you can use your address but to a different name. Once you receive it... Dont open it. Write RTS on it and place it on the floor inside the house by the front door. Wait 72 hours. Thats it. Postal inspector has more jurisdiction than any other agent in the...

Ordering Single Seeds -- Bad Idea?

Truth is that it sucks that you are restricted by a budget and can't just get what you want. You do this once a year (outs of course). Next year make sure you manage your finances so that you can buy those bomb seeds and won't have to be so indecisive. My orders were always three of each...

    clones...

I agree the root riot cubes are good. Then you can put them right into rockwool cubes or whatever when theyre bigger. As for the water... I used added a little bit of Vitamin B and Black Label Root Enhancer. Good results.

    Help needed !

Listen... you can totally save them. In fact, it will only take a few days before you see a difference. I have done EBB & Flow for years and I can give you all kinds of advice, but the only two pieces of advice that I will give you is 1) follow the instructions on the nutrients that you're using...

    I'M BACK!!!!

Not new, just can't figure out to get into my established account so had to start up a whole new account. So, why the disappearing act? Well, I took a year off after a handful of very productive seasons here in Northern Cali. Then earlier this month, I received one hell of a job offer in the...

This is my first outdoor grow! Bug spray not working

Aza max is definitely a good one, however, one season I made a pepper spray from habineros and it had killer results. Just Google it and read up on it. It's all organic and doesn't harm the plants. Good luck!

    My NorCal Backyard Grow 2016

I'm from Sonoma County, but lived up in Lake for a year before I moved down to the Bay Area. Be careful with the frost... It tends to linger a little longer up there in that shit hole. Lol. As for clones...they're great for indoor, but you always want to use seeds outdoors. You will yield 3 to...

    Cheap DIY ebb & flow

That setup is very similar to the very first one I did years and years ago. The whole was less than like $40 and it fit in my bedroom closet. LOL.

Your best way of perfect cloning

I used to use rockwool cubes along with Clonex, however, I invested in a small cloning machine a few years back out of curiosity and I LOVED the results. The airating along with some Black Label (root enhancer) added to the water just made tons of healthy roots. After that... I made a couple of...
