Oh how wrong you are sir...I defoliate the shit out my plants around week 5 and I constantly grow monsters 2 lbs a light just because I don't have the energy to scrog 75 plants since I grow alone if I had help 3 maybe 3.5 per light.

For one thing I never over water shit I know how to use water needed by a newly transplanted plant....logic is once a plant is in a circular gaggle fuck in a 1 gallon pot that it's been in for 2.5 months...that rootball will not change unless you loosen up the rootball prior to transplanting...

This is an old post but don't listen to this guy ^ prune after the stretch and once bud sites are established...it's not going to hurt shit after that just maintain them by removing big fan leaves

Shit is real to an extent we transplanted so plants that we purposely didn't loosen the roots on and threw it into a 5....that plant hasn't been watered in 5 days still heavy...removed it from its container and pulled out a perfect 1 gallon root all I put in 3 weeks prior

Yea we had aphids come out of no where in our indoor and a little research and due diligence found out they were coming in from the expansion joints in the concrete....scraped them out vacuumed up a whole colony in 9ne area and sealed it with caulking.

Old post I know but ants protect aphids...not sure if spider mites are a danger to aphids but either way ants farm aphid "dew" and protect the farmers "aphids"

I check ph and ppm everytime. Ph at 6.4 and ppm around 900 - 1200 depending on week
