Blackness Spreading from Tips of Leaves

Yeah, the space bucket has a fan that is directly pulling air over the seedling 24/7 and then there is another at the top that pulls it out. I think there might be a pH problem as well. I used to be able to use the tap water straight out of my house and it would always pH out nicely. I am going...

Blackness Spreading from Tips of Leaves

Gotcha, thanks for the advice. I'll monitor the situation closely and see what happens. Hopefully it'll make a rebound.

Blackness Spreading from Tips of Leaves

This plant was looking beautiful before the accident, pure vibrant green. So like things were going very well before, I'm just trying to get them back to that point and I panicked when I found that one plant had the accident occur. I'm definitely willing to admit to the over-watering and see...

Blackness Spreading from Tips of Leaves

It dries out roughly every 3-4 days I believe? There are 3 gallons of fox farm ocean forest, I have not added any nutrients, just pure water. What would you advise doing in my situation, and will the blackness fade away? EDIT: By perlite in the bottom I meant there is perlite mixed into the...

Blackness Spreading from Tips of Leaves

I water it when the first ~1.5-2" or so of soil is dry. Drainage is good, there is a layer of perlite in the bottom. I watered it 2 days before the accident that caused the re-planting and then I re-watered that day to ensure that the roots did not dry out.

Blackness Spreading from Tips of Leaves

So this grow is in a space bucket and long story short the bucket got knocked over and rolled a little bit so the plant was buried under soil and I had to delicately extract it and re-plant it. I soaked the roots in water before re-planting it in moist soil and that was ~36 hours ago. I've kept...

    Continuous Bin Grow

@BinGrower Could you possibly explain / give some more pictures of how your watering system works? I see the bottle on the side to put in the nutrients / water but don't understand how / where it goes (I see the PVC elbow, does it just drip down the side and fill or..?). Also, I noticed you said...

    Growing Drainless - Ideas/Suggestions

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, it looks like I'm gonna go with the hempy grow bucket. Looks very simple to maintain and I can run it with my current setup.

    Growing Drainless - Ideas/Suggestions

This is what I'm working with. The bulbs are technically adjustable in height but I have them roughly 3-4" off the bottom of the can so that I am not wasting the light likeyou said. I'm using 6 55w 4100k CFL's. Each bulb has 5200 lumens so in total I have 330w and 31,200 lumens. I can't cut out...

    Growing Drainless - Ideas/Suggestions

Hey guys, I am trying to replicate the "High Pod" and grow inside a trash can with 6 bulbs spaced every 60 degrees apart to achieve lighting for 360 degrees around the plant. I have everything setup and ready to go, and am ready to germinate the seeds, but the final thing I have left is to...

    Growing Indoor Drainless?

I'm trying to avoid adding a drain, or find out if that can be done. I know I'd have to be careful with overwatering and whatnot. Worst comes to worst I want to make some type of drip irrigation EDIT: If I just had a drain pan under the trash can with holes in the bottom, and then a layer of...
