    Blumat line algae problem!

I never did resolve the issue, it worked ok for about a week after bleaching and flushing the whole system, then slowly I noticed chunks when flushing the main line. Eventually I was flushing green noodles out of dripper lines again. At that point I said screw it and went back to hand watering...

    Bugs or deficiency?

Would it take care of thrips as well? Pulled a few of the worse leaves so I can monitor if it's getting worse, found nothing on any of them except one, I believe it to be a tiny dead thrip but couldn't be sure

    Bugs or deficiency?

I had noticed a bunch of those spiders hanging out down low and have been leaving them alone, figure they were a good ally. Haven't noticed aphids but very well could be. My main concern is nipping it right off the bat if it is mites. Assuming it was, what would be safest at 5 weeks?

    Bugs or deficiency?

Yeah I didn't think he was eating the plants, just making the web. Do fungus gnats bite leaves? I have been noticing a few. I looked all around after the lights went out, shining through leaves, couldn't spot any signs

    Bugs or deficiency?

Noticed a few leaves developing these spots on my Critical Jack, at first glance I thought maybe mites, but from what I've seen these are bigger spots and I have checked top, bottom, flashlight, affected leaves, unaffected leaves, didn't see anything with the naked eye and can't find my loupe...

    Blumat line algae problem!

Looks good, I'm going to give it time to work the way it should before I toss too much at it. 2 days into week 4 and still looking nice and green. When I was trying to get ROLS to work I kept running until deficiencies way too early in flower, and small yield. Just couldn't make it work, I'm...

    Blumat line algae problem!

I honestly haven't been adding the silica first, didn't think it would matter that much. It did cross my mind earlier today that maybe I should hand feed all the extras and run a straight up base nutrient reservoir. Makes sense that the sugars could be feeding the grime. One thing I did add...

    Blumat line algae problem!

Lmao, would have to be a damn small one. Using connoisseur a and b, b52, big bud, bud candy, nirvana, protekt, and botanicare Calmag. That's the only thing I could think of is that maybe something went bad

    Blumat line algae problem!

I did that, maybe 3 or 4 days ago. Scrubbed res with peroxide, then flushed lines with peroxide solution. Refilled with fresh nutrient solution and peroxide for good measure. Next day, lines gooped up again. Hopefully whatever survived that will be had with the bleach.

    Blumat line algae problem!

I thought that may be the case but I checked last night and there is definitily still growth, so today I'm running a strong bleach solution in reservoir and through lines periodically (not into the pots, F that), and then I'll give it a good flush and try again. The stuff in the lines looks...

    Blumat line algae problem!

I forgot to mention I do have two airstones in the res, I've been meaning to grab some drip clean, might have to be my next try. Going to try to flush line out real good, hopefully that helps

    Blumat line algae problem!

I did a brief search and didn't really find anything, but I'm running advanced nutrients through blumats in coco. Reservoir used to be in flower room but after noticing algae growth I moved it out where it now stays dark and cool. Cleaned reservoir thoroughly with peroxide and flush feed line...

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

Hey guys, built a soil a few months ago and It's time to reamend a set. Can't help but feel like I went heavy initially so I'm having a hard time reading and figuring out what to reamend with. Total base mix about 16 cu ft. Fish meal, alfalfa meal, neem seed meal crab meal all at 4 cups each...

Water: Ro or not to RO, that is my question

Just wanted to chime in on the metals aspect of it, strictly out of curiosity, not to argue. Wouldn't the well water have very similar exposure to metals, between the well pump, the pump in house, both of which may have metal impellers? The steel pressure tank that could have rust inside...

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

Definitely won't take it personally, this is what I wanted! I was sure I was going to need to tweak it but thought I'd let those with experience tell me how. Double the dolomite, 60more lbs of ewc, I'll source some more rock dusts, and grab some more drainage. I have some growstones I got as a...

Water: Ro or not to RO, that is my question

The dehumidifier water isn't really pulled "through" the compressor. It's condensation so as I understood it was that it was water in the near purest form. It comes out to be like 12 ppm, which that 12 could have come from my buckets. Though the dehumidifier is new I do see the concern of it...

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

New guy here, 2 weeks from harvest on my first grow, wanted to give the ROLS a try. Theres no way I could have time to read this whole thread (maybe I'll get to the end someday) Just mixed up a batch that ended up being about 80 gallons. Was wondering if I can get some opinions on my recipe...
