The pressure valve is a good idea. It probably wouldn't be hard to install neither.

My hydro setup isn't complete atm.. I'm most likely going to have a 15gallon res with a 3x3 flood tray I thought about that but assumed you could only use it on fans?!

Hey guys i recently obtained a water pump that has A LOT of GPH.. the problem is its so strong it doesnt give enough time for it to drain back to the reservoir. Is there anyway i can lower the GPH? I'd hate to have to buy a water pump =\

From the research ive done it seems that an inline fan would be ideal for a carbon filter but you could use a squirrele cage fan for a carbon filter.. thanks for all the replys

The distrilled water i use is around 6.0 Just get a ph meter or drops
