Sounds like an interesting experiment if it is for personal use. If you are trying to make it look like purple haze to make more $$$, then that is just fucked up man. Don't cheat the consumer like that.

IMHO: If you must prune now, be sure to only cut half of each leaf. Remember that the fan leaves are there to produce energy for the bud production. Also, you should really prune any damaged leaves because the plant will utilize its energy to heal when it could be using it to produce nice...
