Need a controller if I'm installing a mini split?

Yea I was Worried about the temperature swing which is why I figured a controller would be beneficial provided I don’t have to spend a few thousand dollars. Some thing for 300 - 500 bucks is fine

Need a controller if I'm installing a mini split?

Bro I like the price point since it’s less than $300 but do I need to order any extra peripherals with it? The 3 in 1 sensor is all I would need for environmental control?

    RDWC and drip...

Some really good advice being given and ignored here. DWC is every newbs first hydroponic setup and that’s comes with more difficult learning curves since there more area’s of concern. Sure you can grow half way decent bud but what if you incorporate what your being told? Maybe it’ll be better...

Need a controller if I'm installing a mini split?

Hey guys and gals, Building out a sealed room, 6x6, and a small veg area with an additional work area. Custom building what I've always wanted with a new home I just purchased. I'm a hobbyist and prefer to grow my own is all. My question though is if I have a mini-split that I can set to run...

    First grow in attic

Finally! And I'm doing the floating wall as mentioned now since I'm tired of a closet. Split a bedroom in half and no one will no about the other side. Use sound panels on the wall facing the room and then build boxes with sound material around each inline fan. Not difficult with the skills you...

    First grow in attic

Then I sure hope everything works out well. Question that you may have answered already, did you use your existing ac duct that is for your home? And if your running passive intake, wouldn't it just run the house ac constantly? I wanted to do that in my closet but didn't for that reason...

    First grow in attic

I'm surprised your still doing this with all the comments from EXPERIENCED people. Your mind is made up already but people have tried this and failed. Bro, your box is pretty small. Put it in a closet! Your supplies are not wasted and if your trying to hide this from someone you live with...

    Co2 Lung tent . . . .

There is multiple write ups and reviews showing that the exhale bags don't actually raise the ppm's of the C02. Sell anything you have related to the bag setup and don't run C02 unless you can afford to do it right. I'm not running it for that reason.

    Breaker flipping from 400w ballast

Firstly, I don't think the cheap surge protector is helping and anytime I've ordered a timer it was one rated for a higher rating. Sounds like your fuse is running a lot more than you think. Maybe not. But does that breaker turn off another bedroom or room of some sort? Mine does so it's...

I need tips on pruning during flowering

I understand from reading that only a little at a time like your doing. But I leave a few leaves at the bottom in case there is a deficiency or lockout I'll be able to spot it. I just cut 2 thick branches off since they were stuck too far under the main tops. It was causing more harm so it...

    humidity with passive intake

If you look at some people's journals that follow VPD all the way through you'd probably be getting a better gpw ratio. That's a big deal for a small cab grower. Also, all you need is extremely good airflow through the plants and wind blowing crazy. Your plants will drink normally or better than...

    humidity with passive intake

Your all great. Thanks. Thinking I should have went with a tent and not a closet. You were right it is a small space and that 6" is probably overkill. I'm about to move in 30 days so I'll be redoing things anyway but I'm at a critical point and need things to go well. If I went with a tent...

    humidity with passive intake

Outstanding! I just tried something similar and it raised it a descent amount just need a little more. I'm going for the VPD if anyone knows what I'm talking about. Forgot what it stands for but I have the chart if anyone wants it. It shows EXACTLY where your RH should be compared to your...

    humidity with passive intake

It stresses the motor and shortens the life span. However I can't run that damn thing at full power.

    humidity with passive intake

Thanks you two. That does help me with a direction to take. My 6" inline fan is dialed down to medium and then whines since it's stressing the motor when turned any lower. I'll have to work around that but I totally understand that more vegetation will make the RH go right up. So ill be adding...
