    I do every year.....I like to rotate what I add but it's always a 50/50 blend of rice hulls and either compost or worm castings.

    The best silica u can use is organic rice hulls, that's what I use for my aeration in my soil.

    So I've been saving the water from the initial seed soak and giving it to my succulents and other house plants. I was under the impression that water was filled with growth inhibitors from the seeds, but I dont waste water, living in Cali. All the house plants are thriving. They love that...

    You soak alfalfa and kelp meal for 48 hours strain and root drench. You can do the same with stinging nettles and comfrey as well.

    I would not use mint....it can really grow out of control. I like to use wheatgrass as a cover crop though, so maybe you want to think about that for a third. Alfalfa and clover are amazing though and should do the job just fine.

    Read the ROLS thread.....learn a soil mix that you can put together.....water and SSTs for the tastiest herb you will ever smoke

    You can also add rice hulls to your soil mix. As they break down they release nice amounts of silica.

    @DonTesla I've seen a few people putting fishbone meal in their teas on this thread. I was wondering what your opinion on that is? Does it make the Phosphorus readily available to the plant or is it a waste of time. Hope all is well! Peace
