Anyone wanna see some plants growing in 16 oz. mountain dew bottles?

Been a couple weeks since i updated. Not a lot has changed. Trichomes are getting milky, still no ambers. Seeds are mature and falling out here and there. Harvested one plant last week just for kicks. Got 6 huge grams off of it. 8)8-)8-)8-) Smoked some buds today. bongsmilie :confused:Smells and...

Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

My mantra: Brown, flush it down. Yellow, let it mellow.

Leaf curl getting worse after fixing PH and Flushing

They won't straighten out. But that doesn't mean you should remove them.

Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

My main reason for proposing this method is actually to facilitate the drying of the buds. The soil and roots are a great moisture sink. (I am also completely making this up as i go, and these are just the musings of my mind.) :eyesmoke:

Is it ready to harvest yet?

I look for all those characteristics, but honestly i've never had a grow where the plant stopped shooting out new pistils, or still had 40% clear trichomes, and various other things that clouded my judgment on when to harvest. If conditions are less than ideal, or the genetics are questionable...

Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

You trim the leaves b4 they droop. As i said; Let them get almost dry, then trim, then continue allowing soil to dry, then chop and hang. (and, actually i forgot to add that after trimming all the leaves, you water one more time. (a flush, of sorts) So, it's: Almost dry, defoliate, water, total...

Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

Nevermind flushing; The important thing is to let the plants get almost completely dry, trim all the leaves, then let them continue drying in the pot for 1 week. Then chop and hang.

Is it ready to harvest yet?

Wish my first grow would have looked that nice. Good job in my opinion. Calyxes aren't swelling, but some strains don't swell too much.

Is it ready to harvest yet?

Crazy how nobody really can agree on when to harvest. "Pistils should ALL be red" "Pistils should disappear" "Trichomes will be mostly cloudy with a chance of meatballs". Chop some now. Chop some in three days. Chop some next week. Especially if it's your first grow. Everybody has their...

Anyone wanna see some plants growing in 16 oz. mountain dew bottles?

Turns out, i'm only 8 weeks in. (Well, 8-9 or so) The last plant to start flowering was on Dec. 27. So, pinecone city here i come! haha

Anyone wanna see some plants growing in 16 oz. mountain dew bottles?

Yeah, they got pretty bad on a few of the plants. It seems like the more i pluck them, the more they grow. If i leave them alone, they seem to calm back down. (maybe the extra stress of manhandling them?) I appreciate the compliment. Not sure skills have much to do with it, honestly lol! No...
