I built one of these to the exact specs, and lost all of two batches of clones. The first batch I had to fix the mister to the center of the bucket; solved that but the next batch died also; and never developed any roots. I since have returned to cloning in soil; but my new secret is Foliar...

It depends on your setup. But a few basic principles you must grasp; 1-Don't water at Night..Plants don't need it! 2- Everyone's setup is a little different; I'm growing on a flood table with 4 inch rockwool blocks; I water drip and flood 5 mins 3 times a day; once in first hour and 2 hrs...

    Let's talk lighting schedules (12/12, 11/13, etc)

My reading has shown that 12on 12off is the simplest and best . I do believe that veg fluoros are great, and use them with my HID's before flowering. I grow great smoke , probably would not want stronger.

    Rockwool in Soil Watering Question

Yes, you have probably over watered; get a scale and weigh them daily keep the weight around 45 grams and they'll do fine. Don't transplant until you see roots growing out the bottom. Also read my post on using rockwool cubes.

System Design --Drip plus Ebb and Flow table

I built a table out of 2x4's to support the tray-buy a commercial growing tray with drainage channels for 30 to 50 bucks. Don't try to build one out of plywood; which was my first idea --You will never get it to hold water and it will cause you endless problems -- just build a square frame and...
