The grass smell is due to crappy trimming and improper humidity levels. I personally use cure caps to monitor my humidity in my jars. Cure caps are mason jar caps made by Ohio C&p that have a hygrometer sealed in the cap of a mason jar.

    Hygrometer's recommendation ? ?

The hygrometer cap aka Cure Cap is the best option. It is the no fuss, reliable and cheaper way to measure moister in a jar. The same company sells reliable already calibrated analog and digital hygrometer for cheap. Get 6 digital hygrometers for around $20 http://www.cureand.com/

    Smells like nettles

Every strain has its own smell. Some pot smells like pine trees (not my favorite) some pot smells like a skunks ass (YES PLEASE!) and some smell like stinging nettles (I'm down!). As long as its dried enough and there is no mold you should be cool. Place a hygrometer in the jar and see how wet...

Small Business looking for Outside Opinion

I am an owner of a small company called Ohio Curing and Preserve. I'm looking for some peoples feedback on my company. We have been operational for over a year and have not received much negative feedback. Nothing is perfect so I know there is room for improvement but I just don't know what I...

Curing Storage boveda 62 humidity packs

I have been using cure caps to monitor the rh in my jars. I guess people have been using them with the boveda packs too. I only use the cure caps though. If my pot is lacking in rh I just put a damp piece of paper towel in with my pot over night.
