This is my first coco grow also...I am going under a tube cooled 1000W HPS and built my own DTW system ...Plants get 1/3 gallon 2x/day in 3gallon grow bags...vegging for 11 days at this point...I know i could get bigger yield by waiting a while ,,,but I'm flipping this batch to 12/12...

I use a quartz heater I bought at walmart My room started in a building just like yours ...With the 1000W HPS my heater kicks on very little...it was 15F here last night and my room was 73F...Some insulation board on your walls and ceiling will go a long way.

good start! for a cheap efficient exhaust fan you can rig up a harbor freight blower for under $70...pulls 300cfm like a champ...would work great with a carbon filter.

a better Plan would be to get a blower fan from Harbour freight...And get a stick on 6" take off and a 6" oval port from lowes...and hook it up like this...Total cost under $70 and it pulls 300cfm like a champ.
