What might be causing PH to drop in the rootzone?

Plants look healthy besides some minor cupping close to lights. They are almost 4 weeks into flowering. I've been doing the 1:1.5 extraction analysis for the rootzone 2 times a week and I can't understand why the PH level drops to between 5.1 and 5.5. Measurements are taken before watering and...

Few questions about rootzone analysis by 1:1.5 extraction method.

Firstly I would like to say that I have compared the results of the same mix by measuring right after mixing it together vs putting it back together and waiting for 2 hours before taking the measurements. It read only 20 ppm more later and ph was exactly the same, so basically in my experience...

Gassing with Co2 and following VPD chart.

Come on, people :) where are all the big growers?

Gassing with Co2 and following VPD chart.

Where is the temperature measured - is it inside the canopy in shade? Under canopy? What might be the upper limit for the actual rootzone (inside the pot) before temperature starts being a problem?

Gassing with Co2 and following VPD chart.

So much different information I have seen and heard. Lets try again to bring up the discussion please. So I'm using CO2 at 1300ppm. 1) What temp/RH or VPD value should I be following for maximum CO2 efficiency? .. and for how many weeks in flowering? As I understand at one point RH should be...

If watering more often, should I cut down on nutes (ppm) ?

In the light (with radiant heat included) on top of canopy + in the shade inside of canopy = and take the average? No to what? Maybe you can say more than that.

If watering more often, should I cut down on nutes (ppm) ?

Dr. Who, from where should this 89-90F be measured? 1) In the light on top of canopy? 2) Or in shade inside of canopy? There is also leaf temperature which can be measured with infrared thermometer as I can understand. How to understand it accurately? Exactly from where?

If watering more often, should I cut down on nutes (ppm) ?

I get your point, but i find it hard to believe that it's so harmful as you describe. I get the feeling that you are exaggerating a bit. Nevertheless you make me worry and I want to make sure I haven't already fucked up the bulbs. It should be easy to make sure by measuring lumens?

If watering more often, should I cut down on nutes (ppm) ?

My exhaust starts working at the moment when lights turn off, but if the lights are on, there is no exhausting at all. The cooling is made by an AC unit. But yes, it all happens automatically. Finally I'm there with my life :) What do you think would be the light intensity needed to use up...

If watering more often, should I cut down on nutes (ppm) ?

I am atm doing side by side experiment on those interleds that will go under the crop (or maybe its more accurate to say into the crop) and soon I will get to see the difference in results. Then I will know if the cost of led lamps is worth it or not. Can you please explain further? Do you...

If watering more often, should I cut down on nutes (ppm) ?

Spurr says it should not be over 1200. He seems to know what he's talking about: The facts about CO2 ppm: don't use 1,500! High, I haven't posted much lately, but I thought this topic was important enough to write a thread. I have written about this topic quite a lot in the past, but I have...

If watering more often, should I cut down on nutes (ppm) ?

"To even make 1300 ppm usable by the plant... You would need to deliver 48,240 lux (I use lux as it's easier to understand then mol). A 1k HPS does not deliver that amount of light energy.....I listed 1300 ppm as a high end limit, by lighting limitations."...

If watering more often, should I cut down on nutes (ppm) ?

I've been following a feeding schedual that has worked very well so far, but now I have done something that few of us have, I've made an upgrade on my lights which has increased the light intensity to the extreme. So far it was one 1150W papillon e-light per 5x5 feet (1.5 x 1.5 meters), but now...

How much light (lumens) is needed for cuttings to root?

Cuttings start rooting usually in 10-14 days as far as I know. I think 250W for the first week and 400W after that would be best :)

How much light (lumens) is needed for cuttings to root?

To keep in mind that I have 4 big domes of clones. They take 2 x 5 feet coverage. 250W MH really gives me a dim feeling. Usually I have also had them under floros, but I've had two T5's 55W both and they were really close to the dome and shined brighter than my 250W MH on 4 domes at the...

How much lollipopping is too much at once?

My plants have grown so big that I'm getting a feeling that about 75% of them should be lollipopped to avoid getting popcorn. Will be flipping in few days, so I'd like to have some suggestions about how much can be taken at once without making them stress too much? Commonly people say not more...
