How did the yield compare between the plants on the floor down the center, with the ones on the top shelf that where getting the light from the side instead of straight down from the top?

All hail Redeflect, he has spoken and there is no more to say on the subject. I would like to personally thank him for helping me with my grammar and the proper way to make a play on words. Also you have saved me time, now I dont even have to think about this anymore, I can just take your word...

I by no means plan on buying one of those the price is crazy, but the pics show what we have been discusing well. As far as the more space less light issue, it isn't more space just better use of it. Vertical exposes more plants to to same light and I think that the difference in the focused...

    DIY Icebox.

Nice link thanks! I should point out though if anybody is going to make something like this, that if you are going to use it to cool your hydro reservoir also, to make sure no copper comes in contact with the nutrient solution, it can kill plants.

    10.0 Uvb Light

Their fine for plants, but just as you would not lay in a tanning booth all day, your plants only need a couple hours in the middle of each light cycle to be effective, any more than that you are doing more damage than good. I tried to find the link to the video Marijuana Man had on youtube...

DIY ultrasonic fog cloner " lots of pics"

I only made an aero cloner cause I already had all the parts from a left over DIY hydro failure, except I used a coleman cooler for my base and it was less than $20. (check out thread "cooler cloner"). I used to just use a shallow storage tote with 2 - 12" long airstones on a large airpump...

    vertical growing

A few mom's in dirt, 1 tier stocked with clones about every 2 weeks, 8 week cycle. I dont think reveg would work the best, to long for the plants to recover and harder to control the size and keep them even. With larger number of plants in a smaller space, a clone straight into flowering is better.

There is at least 28 mature plants in this room that cannot be much bigger than 4'x4' I want anyone to show me that in the same room flat, and it looks like they are only using 3 sides!

    vertical growing

Nice thread guys, guess I'll join in and make a few of my own observations. First one is, in most vertical grows you would have a single row of plants around the light with a reflective material behind them. In my opinion it would seem to me that it would reflect more lumens back than the same...

DIY ultrasonic fog cloner " lots of pics"

I have tried this on a slightly larger scale with a 5 head fogger, with teflon discs which do not clog and all I can say is if anyone wants it they can have it, its not worth it. In addition to producing fog they throw up water drops and I would say in your smaller setup that is having more of...
