How much light is too much light outdoors, in terms of night cycle?

I just want to be prepared for Autumn, so I was wondering if these decorative lights, for instance, is enough to upset the night cycle? None of them are near the cannabis plant, but they're within a few feet/meters of the plant.

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

I have plenty of growing season to grow one without going below 20c, it was more to see if it was possible to do two grows a year, but it's optional, not a must. Gotcha! Thanks It's allegedly not very hard. You just buy the auto seeds, then after planting you spray it every day with...

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

Bit unrelated to my initial problem, but I've actually been looking for a good auto to grow outdoors in these cold Nordic countries, something cold/mold resistant, has big yields, not prone to pests, easy to grow, has won some awards, etc. @techniciangrower97 and @conor c what do you think of...

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

Thanks for the insights. You're right that the transplant was both too soon and too drastic, the pot too big, and the weather too shit. I could probably have kept it in the smaller smartpot for another month or so?

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

Hopefully! Looks like the next week or two will be hot without rain, so that's perfect for the recovery as well. Let's see if we get a glow-up

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

I repotted it as suggested. I was afraid when removing the smaller pot that there would be loads of roots sticking through it, but nope. Not a single one, so it was 100% the right move and I had made a mistake in putting it in there directly. I repotted it and added a generous buffer of Biobizz...

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

It's an amendment you mix with your soil, but it says 1-2-0 I believe. Thanks for the input, I'll get to transplanting. Will make sure there's at least a buffer of the plain Light mix soil between the plant and the hot soil, that's a decent option too, right?

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

Supposedly the roots will grow right through those pots. I was sceptical too but everywhere I check I'm told that this is fine to do. (Less transplant stress) Feel free to correct me, because I've never done it before. It's entirely possible I've just run into bad information and that the roots...

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

Just an update, plant still look horrible, but not dead! I think it's correct that it's suffering from both overwatering, cold and perhaps shock from nutrients in the soil as someone suggested earlier. It has been given no nutrients besides Plagon Bio Supermix mixed into the soil in the big...

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

I appreciate all the tips! We're facing hotter days and no rain, so I will let it dry out a bit! If it gets cold again I will see if I can insulate it and if it rains I'll find something to cover it with. Wasn't aware that was required! I made sure the mix was perlite heavy so it wouldn't get...

The saddest plant I've ever seen, will it recover?

Frisian dew that was put outside as early as possible. It should allegedly be able to tolerate the current temperatures (Close to freezing at night) so I hope it's just stunted and unhappy temporarily. I have a few backup plants growing indoors that will replace this one if it doesn't recover...

    Newbie needs advice

You're impatient. Make sure to plant seeds barely under the surface, if they're too far down it will take them a lot of time and energy to get to the surface. Here's how I do it

How often should you exchange all the air in your grow room?

Thanks for this! Laid out like this it becomes even clearer that there's not a "perfect" number, it depends on your local conditions. 1 minute is fine as long as it doesn't have a negative impact on your temperature or your relative humidity, the same for 5 minutes, it seems. It's about...

How often should you exchange all the air in your grow room?

Ah perfect. That helps clear some things up. Because I was wondering like, what benefits the plants themselves are seeing at 1 minute, 3 minute, 5 minute, but if it's more about heat and humidity then it's simpler. Thanks! Useful if you're not using a controller. (Which I'm not, yet!)

How often should you exchange all the air in your grow room?

That's a good point about the different amount of plants. That's a variable that's hard to control. Maybe my phrasing was off, of course, you should be exchanging air 100% of the time, but there's usually some discussion about whether you should be replacing all the air in your growspace every...

How often should you exchange all the air in your grow room?

I'm not asking for personal opinions so much, I'm more asking if there's like a clear scientific consensus. I keep hearing people say "Every 5 minutes" or "Every 3 minutes" or even "Every 1 minute" But in reality, there has to be a "correct" answer, right? Maybe some literature someone can...

    Are 600w hps being discontinued??

I recommend this site https://migrolight.com/blogs/grow-light-reviews Then just pick the article that fits your needs. Like if you're growing in a 5x5 or 4x4 etc.

    Somewhat newbie needing advice

If you don't want to invest a lot of time, put them in a glass of water and see if they sink after 24 hours. Generally, that's a sign that they absorb water and are still viable.

    Is this a successful topping?

Fuck. You never know what causes hermies these days. He got me. So, I should top it again in the near future I guess? I'll give it a week to recover, I also just transplanted it and put it outdoors a few days ago.
