Slowly read through this thread the last couple days....really awesome all the information that is being shared :clap: Have grown :leaf:, but becoming fascinated by fungi, and want to trip for mind expanding purposes. About to take the plunge and go with the 80$ unlimited mushrooms tek by Willy...

I know what you mean! I noticed that my plants did so much better under a few crees up close than they did with a bunch of wattage that had to be kept further away. You probably know this, but just in case, Zen Blend has some decent nutes already in it so you shouldn't need to fert for a while...

Crees in my opinion...always nice when you don't have to deal with heat issues, they last longer than CFLs, less cost to run and you don't have to worry about breaking them / mercury.

The ones I am using are Crees, which are the highest quality LEDs at the moment. They have a contract with Home Depot so you can get them from there. The household bulbs are not sold at other home improvement stores, but you can get other LEDs there (like Phillips)...I would personally go with...

Man wtf happened to multi-quote? Apologize for the quadra post lol. So, for a little update.... Mother plant is doing well, and def due for a haircut soon lol....growing fast on me :P And the two seedlings I dropped in hopes of getting a strong female to possible be another mother have...

I've seen it done for the duration of the grow. I actually had them in slightly bigger containers when I flowered them before though. The cups the plants are in now are only 8oz...I might try a few in 8oz just to see and then a few in the regular solo cups (16oz).

Well I'm glad to hear that you got your priorities straight...am in the middle of that myself now ha. Thank you for saying you liked my old avi :p. Felt like it made it a little too easy to make a connection to me though lol. Maybe I'll put it back up when I get my grow license :D

Hey stemseed, that is awesome you used to follow one of my grows lol. I am happy you decided to read along once again, welcome :) Yup, you have the idea...the ziploc bag is for humidity. It helps a lot to keep the clone from wilting / dying before it can root.

Thanks for the suggestion but it isn't necessary. I am growing the way I am because I want to. Plus...I will pull more than 4-5 grams without hempy :) Peace

Yea, I've seen some legit grows out of Crees. And dealing with the heat is by far easier than with CFLs. Thanks for stopping by wyte :)

Hey cool dude, I'm actually running it 18/6 right now while I have the mother and veggies in there. I will be switching it to 12/12 soon as the clones root in the small veg box though, and work on making a bigger veg cab to accommodate more clones and veggie seedlings. Thanks for the support :)

I should be using more than four to be honest. 6- 8 would be preferred, but I've been having to spend money on all kinds of stuff like Christmas and New Year's :p. Going to add some more soon, but am pleasantly surprised what even just four bulbs did. As for the light spectrum, it's pretty much...
