hey all, so my plant is in the 11th or 12th week of flowering, give or take a few days. anyways the plant looks ready to harvest, except for the top cola, picture included below. However all the other buds on the plants are easily 2/3 amber/brown colored pistils. as you can see in the picture...

HPS is definatley the better bet, yield-wise. however i have found that using an HPS above the plants, with several flourescent, or CFL bulbs on the side make for a better light distribution and can help fluff up those outer buds and branches.

i have 3X42 watts, 3X26 watts and 5X13 watts. the smaller 13's are just for the side growth, i have them spread out around the plant. so runnin around 250 watts, give or take

so im running 4 plants on a 24/0 schedule, and im not sure when to change it. do i need to change it to 18/6 at some point? or can i just go right into 12/12 when theyre ready to flower? heres a pic
