Kelp4less grow/bloom packs. Anyone try them?

Purchased a Bloom Start Pack from them for about $100. Complete waste of money. Plants starved to death on it. Completely deficient. I stepped up to using General Hydroponic Floranova Bloom $60 for a whole gallon! Totally blew the doors off. I have a side by side grow on a few forums. The...

    My new Vero 29!

Ok so... the vero 29 gets hot... my indagro lets me do 4 to 5 degrees over ambient... with the vero on it jumps as high was 11 over ambient. So be for warned even at 2.1 amps they put off some heat

    My new Vero 29!

I am only going to run 39.4v @ 2.1 amps for a few reasons. One is appreciable gains. I use an led and indagro because I want efficency. My area is in an attic so heat is kind of an issue with hids. 2.1 amps is when its producing the most lumens and the least heat for appreciable gains. Two my...

    My new Vero 29!

Ok so I am jumping the gun just a little bit, but hey I am excited, this has been a long time coming. So I bought a Vero 29 and an LED driver from Digikey.com. I was going to go with an ebay power supply but if it doesn't work or I get the wrong one dealing with china is a headache, lesson...

I just bought a Indagro Pro 200 PAR. Can this really flower by itself?

I am in all hopes I am wrong and this thing is amazing. All I am doing right now is waiting on the sale of my old rooms surplus crap so I can have the space to start.

I just bought a Indagro Pro 200 PAR. Can this really flower by itself?

I am trying to price out putting 50-60w of led to get that deep red. For about 60w with REAL leds (not ebay stuff) its about $160 just for the emitters. So instead of getting T5s I might work with that.

I just bought a Indagro Pro 200 PAR. Can this really flower by itself?

Ok call me skeptical but can this really replace a 400w HPS? OBVIOUSLY it's not going to have the penetration.... or the lumen output.....(So lets get that bullshit out of the way) but hey its has a whole bunch of VEL (whatever the f* that is, yes I read their whole little pamphlet and I feel...

GE Ceramic Metal Halide or Hortilux Eye in Cooltube.

Alright so. I built my cooltube finally. Looks actually really good much better than I expected. I also decided for my other light to run a pro-200-par by indagrow. I picked it up yesterday. So EDFL and HPS and LED all in one grow :O. yay

GE Ceramic Metal Halide or Hortilux Eye in Cooltube.

I guess I can test run the light and see what happens if I can keep the temps low im going to use it. Ill start with the hps and if it cant handle that heat ill switch to the CMH. So if I cant keep the heat down I am going to use the LEDs for sure. I am quite sure there is more than enough light...

why does my co2 regulator freeze?

Insulation mi amigo. Your outside humidity is at a level capable of producing condensation (which just having frost on it wont hurt anything). Make sure you don't have a cheepy junk regulator where the liquid CO2 is actually entering the regulator, so make sure its facing up and vertical...

GE Ceramic Metal Halide or Hortilux Eye in Cooltube.

Ok so... I own a 400w power supply, this: http://www.futureelectronics.com/en/Technologies/Product.aspx?ProductID=VIMU4EQVICORCORPORATION1019102&IM=0 I am going to run it through this for constant current...

GE Ceramic Metal Halide or Hortilux Eye in Cooltube.

So what if I do a single plant and just use all 3 lights on it. I honestly need to finish building the damn cooltube and just do a test run to see what the temps look like with either bulb. 160 CFM seems to be a good amount of air in terms of the small space. I have the ability to run two vero...

GE Ceramic Metal Halide or Hortilux Eye in Cooltube.

Yeah if you need to know anymore info let me know. I want to run one bulb (switching out is a pita). So I want to pick one to go from veg to flower. I am hoping the LEDS give me enough blue. Let me know what you think, I am not opposed to adding in cfls or another led.

GE Ceramic Metal Halide or Hortilux Eye in Cooltube.

I am having a hard time debating what light bulb I want to run. Its for a small 250w Bulb. I purchased both a CMH and a Hortilux Eye. Both cost me about $40 each brand new. I am using a bake a round DIY cooltube. I have a 160cfm 4 inch inline fan for cooling. Filter > Cooltube > fan >...
