definately worth a try mate! let us know how much you can drop it.. if you are desperate freeze some water bottles and sit them in there too. Wont last long but might lower that peak heat a little Good luck

Just a suggestion! Worry less about penetration and more about an even canopy, Penetration is a means to an end and popcorn buds often waste good plant energy and your energy when your trying to sort that mess out hehehe...

Yeah i stupidly got a 400w for a closet i was building but hit a wall with heat issues so decided to step it up to a tent.. Luckily the company that sold it were stellar and are allowing me a clean swap to a 600w, Phewww. Otherwise id have slapped a MH in and used her for veging heh

I would suggest avoiding cooltubes though if you can dish out a little extra for an air cooled hood. Spread that light out a lot better. Hell if you are feelin baller check out Growlite's OG Hoods. If i had the cash id be on them for sure :D

600w is boss! and when you wanna upgrade just slap 2 next to each other in cooling hoods and you will get KILLER output. Beats the crap outa a 1000w :D and you can cover more space.

Good luck with the temps man, that heat can really fry your babies. You mentioned you have a cooltube on the way? if it wont be too long i would almost consider using the CFLs until it arrives. I had some real problems with heat on more developed babies at about 29-32c, caused a lot of leaf...

lucky haha! Have you looked into mainlining man? I think it would work great for a few plants in that tent. A little extra work but the results will really pay off as you can keep the light closer and use up that space more efficiently :D...

Looks good man! will you be venting air outside? My best suggestion is to always think about the temperature and if you will have heat problems! Living in Australia is a bit different as it gets damn hot here and if you are going to have any heat problems i would suggest looking at air cooled...
