    Hi all! Just an update for anyone who cares to look. Your input is appreciated. It has been looking a lot better for a few weeks now. I lowered the light output and added tap water... I think there was a calmag deficiency among other problems.

    Yeah, it’s just like the coco on the net baskets. Same thing. I agarre 100% with you: upgrades are a must. The new system parts are on their way!!!. But until then I plan to use recycled stuff to get by.

    Yes, I read that too. I soaked the whole mass on PHd water for a while before I planted anything on it. I used what I needed and the rest just dried under the sun and stored it.

    Hey!, yeah I cannot find "grinded" coco around here where I live. What you see in the picture is dry and raw coco coir... It's about the same thing but comes in "straws" or fibers...

    Thanks!, VDP is a new concept to me; I started reading about it after I read your post. This LED light does have a few red diodes; I moved the seedling as far from the light as possible without raising the panel. I will give it a few days and see what happens.

    Thank you!, I think you may be right… too much of something. I bet it’s the light since it is the only thing I cannot currently measure.
