Changing my game to NoTill, advice much appreciated

As far as number of plants, I plan to keep it the same as the Coco SOG, 15 plants all spaced 6 inches apart. Still attempting the 0 veg and going straight to 12/12 from the cloner as the plants in that photo in the first post demonstates, Or a second option is, I have a small spare tent that I...

Changing my game to NoTill, advice much appreciated

Warning Long Post (Wall of text) As a long veteran of indoor hydro and as of late I am doing SOG coco bed grows with magnificent results using Bio-Diesel (Australian nutrient). I have decided that I would like to research more into being able to incorporate (or change) the coco bed to a NoTill...

Jumping on board the LED train...looking for the proper light

First lets start with this...."Physics 101 for dumbasses" A Watt is a unit of power, defined as the rate of energy transferred [per second]. The energy is usually defined as Joules; therefore, one Joule per second is one Watt. When measuring heating effects, a unit of thermal energy known as a...

Jumping on board the LED train...looking for the proper light

Again I agree, yield SHOULD be better with HPS over "Blurple LED". But I was throwing in the additional cost measures that have not been mentioned in previous post.

Jumping on board the LED train...looking for the proper light

I Agree, might as well get a 600w HPS. But then there are other factor to consider for end of use cost if one opts for the HPS route. First and foremost is that they run intensly hotter, so dependant on where one lives, that person will have to consider extracting the heat more efficiently which...

How Fast Can I Get In Shape?

My apologies, I meant to say "healthy saturated fat", which of that is mostly a high % of MCT....but I like your effort to correct my mistake rather than argue that it's a yo-yo diet. Any diet can pose to be a yo-yo diet being if your mentally not prepared to commit to a lifestyle.

Jumping on board the LED train...looking for the proper light

if your wanting anything compared to HID lights, then dont use those "blurple" lights (LED panels that kill your eyes with a pinky/purple/blue look). Most will claim they are full spectrum, they are NOT. You can buy already made COB or QB kits from HLG or Timber, but you can also buy an matched...

How Fast Can I Get In Shape?

I agree 100%, I have been doing the Ketogenic Diet for some time now. It is a lifestyle for me, not so much a "diet", and I use the word "diet" as a fabricated system, writen by some self-proclaimed nutritionist experts promising a quick and rapid weight loss with unannounced side-effect health...

Myth busters - the real truth on CO2 in indoor grows

I know its been awhile since you posted what I have quoted, but from a brewer/distillers point of view you will want to be a little more specific with your yeast strain, the yeast cell count, the temperature at which you ferment and what available nutrients are there for the yeast. So in...

    crockett farms blood orange

I know this was posted in May, but got a handful (x10) of these regular seeds and sprouted them all. Out of the 10 seeds I lost 3 of them and 3 of them where heavily mutated, but have since found out that Crockett Family Farms seeds are notorious for producing quite a few mutated looking plants...

where you top it is entirely your choice, just a matter if you want easy access to under the canopy after it fills out or not, for example when you scrog. a good comfortable level of the screen is about 10 inches in most peoples opinion, doesn't mean you have to have it 10 inches because "Larry...

First Time growing in coco-coir, need help. Having problems :(

I think bottom line you plants are just telling you they want more.....without actually seeing your set up and the plants first hand it hard to be 100%. But at end of day when in coco and hydro set ups, your plants can talk to you within minutes of something not quite right as opposed to soil...

First Time growing in coco-coir, need help. Having problems :(

No worries so you have some FAE then, If your not doing now then I would put the industrial fan on the same timer as the light. This will allow CO2 to accumulate during the lights out as CO2 is heavier than O2 during the lights out period the CO2 will concentrate down at the bottom of the tent...

Are my plants growing too slow?

That MARS light is it advertised as 300w? as they advertise potential wattage of the diode, example they take 3w diode and multiply them by number of diodes in the cluster, but since if you actually ran that 3w diode at 3w, it would burn out in no time at all, so they restrict the diode to 5%...
