    veg needs blue light mostly so anythin above 5000k. the optimum being 64000k. for flowering you wanna drop right down to 27000k which is lower down the spectrum in red. i believe.

    ur spot on there mate. i'm using a 125 watt cool white cfl for four plants. pics to follow. i got mine on ebay.co.uk, look up envirolite. you can find them sold there complete with hood pretty cheap.
