8 days is too soon. Personally, in my experience, my clones have roots at the 10 day mark. Those bumps will become roots just make sure you keep them covered and whatever you are growing them in, usually rock wool, tight against the stem.

Give it another day or two, maybe even 3. How many days has it been?

Fuuuuuuck nooooooo. Do a little more digging around on the forum here and you’ll find quite a few reputable distributors. Of course everyone has their preference.. but I’ve never once heard someone list eBay as their place to go.

I literally do exactly this :bigjoint: I just always had the gut feeling that if the seed didn’t pop within 48 hours, it would end up giving me more trouble than it’s worth. Now, obviously this isn’t science or fact based lol, just a gut feeling.. some may say paranoia

You can’t go wrong with an HLG or NextLight imo, if you want good lights on the low end. Maybe not low end though, depending on your budget I guess. I’d send that one back though, who knows what else they lied about hope it works out though

Turns out it is a “varied carpet beetle”. Anybody have any experience with these, and if so are they or could they be the problems I’m seeing in my plants? All I can find online is that they eat wood and fibers like wool etc.
