    Inline Carbon Filter Mounting Orientation

Yeah, I read quite a few threads about blowing into the filter and it being fine. Ive aslo read an equal amount saying its hard on the fan, less efficient and reduces the life span of the filter. I think its working now that I taped the duct inside the tent.

    Inline Carbon Filter Mounting Orientation

What are the main points that make the vertical setup not ideal? Space ? Efficiency? I couldn't get the duct completely out the tent hole as the filter is offset to the front corner. I think the taped up duct is doing the trick, it was super cheap ducting so im sure you are dead on with your...

    Inline Carbon Filter Mounting Orientation

Hi there, the fan is 405cfm and the filter is rated max 450cfm. I noticed the ducting im using from the filter to the fan isnt exactly air tight, its cheap and seems to have microscopic holes in it. I just taped up the ducting that is in the tent, maybe that was where the leak is coming from...

    Inline Carbon Filter Mounting Orientation

Hi guys, So I decided to buy a carbon filter as this different strain im growing smells quite strong. I didnt really think much about mounting this thing when i bought it, I was more trying to pair it properly with my current fan. I received it and quickly realized it was really big! My tent is...

    Does this look normal doc?

So I just wanted to update this as it could help some. I decided not to feed and just watered with 6ph water. Also transplanted gradually as they grew. They now are looking good.

    Does this look normal doc?

It just dawned on me, I haven't been watering with ph'd water. So I measured my water and it was slightly over neutral. I just clipped off the yellowing leaves and gave them a dose of 6.2ish water. Lets hope it was just a little nute lockout, i really dont want to have to feed so early...

    Does this look normal doc?

Im not sure its over watering. It drains well and as I mentioned I wait until the top inch of soil is dry before watering. I was hoping that I didn't have to feed for a while as I had quite the nightmare with that mg soil. What kind of feed would you suggest?

    Does this look normal doc?

Hi guys, So learning from my last grow using miracle grow soil, I purchased some promix herb&veg soil. Im growing a sativa and and indica, both from feminized seeds under led and fluo for my veg period on a 6/18 hour light schedule. Temps stay around 23-24c and 45-50 RH. Im not feeding...

    Sick girl in flowering

Hey guys, sorry i haven't replied to your last comments as for some reason I didn't get a notification... anyway Ive learned to never use that fking mg soil ever again! After my crazy flush I decided to just water with normal tap water when the soil felt dry a couple of inches deep then crossed...

    Sick girl in flowering

Alright, watering day. I went out and bought a shallow 35 liter plastic storage container. Placed a bbq vegi perforated pan, stands about 3 inches high in the container. Sat my plant on the bbq pan. Proceeded with a major flushing. I have my 3 gallon watering can, 1 gal pitcher and smaller...

You are right, it did leak through once along the seams. Since then ive been bailing out the runoff. When i flushed on saturday, I used 3 gal then fed 1.5 gal , i bailed a bit more than 1.5 gallons of run off. 12 gallons eh!! im wondering if i should just bring her in the shower then.

    Sick girl in flowering

Well, id like to bring up the ph of the soil 1 point before "feeding" too much. I have a feeling there are plenty of nutes left in the soil being locked out. I guess my question should be which water ph would safely bring up soil ph 1 point. Like I know 2 gallons of water reaches the entire...

You are right, I can see it being over fed with nute burn too. This is also the reason im leaning towards ph being the main issue. The miracle grow soil isnt the slow release type, it says to start feeding after 30 days. I think i just missed the mark and fed too soon, causing the nute burn...

    Sick girl in flowering

Ok thanks for the pdf, i also watched a few videos on youtube. Last night I decided to do a 3gal flush with 3tbs of epsom salt, neutral ph. Since i dont have my pk boost yet i gave a heavier mix in 1.5 gal of water of my big bloom after flushing .That solution was 7.5 maybe 8. About 2gal of...

Hi Huckster79 & Jypsy Dog, thanks for your replies. Ok so it seems the consensus is cal /mag and p deficiency. But from everything ive read PH should be determined stable before adding more nutes, no? As Bernie420 mentioned, maybe I should feed some microbe rich solution to help regulate the...

What do you use the ppm meter for, feeding? If i dont over do things do you think i could get away without it? Could I get any microbe prod, that great white is not cheap! If im not worrying about ph and letting the microbes take care of it, should i just return my ph up, or should I still...

Hi bernie, Thanks for your reply. The 25 8 20 is what I used for veg, i wanted to feed that the first week of flower then switch to big boom which is 0 0.5 0.7. I just noticed that that the big bloom is 0 point 5 point 7 i thought it was 0 5 7..too little ? Do you think the ph is causing the...
