General observation on Purple Punch clones in LA area

My wife and I like Purple Punch. It really does smell like a bottle of MD 20/20. Now maybe I am just having bad luck but it seems like the clones I get locally all perform fairly well but the Purple Punch barely puts on any roots. They just start flowering and maybe get 10 percent bigger than...

    Thought California was energy conscious?

It’s extremely stupid for California of all states to force people to use electricity instead of free sunlight! Draining the power grid for no damn reason!

Legal Green Weed Store: Beware of the “refundable insurance fee” scam online

I am kicking myself for falling for this grift. I was kind of desperate to score some GDP clones in California because my wife needs GDP for migraines. So far GDP is the only strain we have found that reliably helps. We don’t want to pay retail prices for the flowers so I have been growing it...

Warning: May trigger PTSD in '70s survivors

This really alarms my cats. Millennials can't cope with the trauma we survived in the '70s.

I bet you are of sufficient vintage to "get" this once-topical humor: Q: What did Capt. Hazelwood yell at the first mate on the Exxon Valdez? A: "I said, 'Tanqueray on the rocks, not tanker on the rocks!' "

Warning: May trigger PTSD in '70s survivors

Now that reminds me that my girlfriend c. 1976 was a certifiable schizophrenic who thought she might have a future career as a singer-songwriter and I accompanied her to meet with an agent-publicist in Orange County who was attending a performance by one of his clients who sang cover songs of...

Ever heard of ProTech Local 33? It's accused of being a phony union

"Not only had nobody heard of ProTech Local 33—the group is not a member of state or local labor councils or federations—but it didn’t appear to have any members." https://www.thedailybeast.com/is-a-fake-labor-union-infiltrating-the-weed-industry?ref=scroll

Orange Burmese: Biggest axillary calyxes I have ever seen

Okay I will try posting this image of the plant that “topped” itself. I tried to do it in the previous post but it got messed up.

Orange Burmese: Biggest axillary calyxes I have ever seen

Another odd characteristic of this strain is that one plant appears to have “topped” itself. The main stem stopped growing after it got to be about 4.5 feet tall and the side branches grew until at least one of them was “taller” than the “leader” branch. I have never seen a cannabis plant do that.
