    AN Barricade & pH

i had similar problems when using ro water. For me RO was less stable and more susceptable to fluctuation. To decrease the range of ph fluctuation I would use 70% RO and 30% tap water. it seemed to slow the number of ph adjustments required. I use AN too. I don't like using tap, but i...

    aeroponic timing

2 possible methods: 1. Run the system constantly. 2. Run the system in intervals -- make sure roots are established-- During the day, I would run 15 min on 15 off. At night I would run 15 on 45 off. I have done both methods in an aeroflo and I noticed no notable difference.

RO Water fluctuation - need input

I appreciate the input Al B. I already tried cleaning the drum with no luck. The only thing I can think of is that the existing filters need to be changed. i will give it a try in the next couple of days and let you know. If you think of anything else let me know. I am in ah.

RO Water fluctuation - need input

I calibrate my meter every week and the drum i filter my water into is made of plastic. I clean everything regularly. I just can't figure out why during this time of year my ro water is 6.2-6.4, when it was 7 three months ago. Its driving me crazy.

RO Water fluctuation - need input

I have been have problems with RO water movements and am looking for input from people with knowledge in this area. A couple of months ago my ro water ph was 7 on the dot, but in the warmer months the ph floats between 6.2-6.5 in the 55 gal drum I store the water. So when adding the nutes in...

    AeroPonic Cloner, Sprayer Q/A

i have tried both tap and ro in a ez cloner. for me tap water seems to work best. when i cut the clones I dip them in root tech and use 10 ml per gallon of root 66. ph the water to 6 and let them do their thing. during the warmer months i use a chiller with my cloner to keep the water @ 75%...

Looking for advice on ph meter

i would suggest the cwp 24/7 meter. You throw the probes in you nutrient mix and It will show you ph, ppm, and temp. The 24/7 meters are quicker and easier to calibrate. I paid $190 for my 24/7 meter but it was worth every penny.

    Cloning - Aeroponic vs. Bubbler

water temps work faster at cooler temps. I have a chiller on my ez cloner and set it to 73. Air temp in room should be 70s. - tap water works just fine. ph it to 6. - no need for a dome, no misting. - i use root tech, cut dip and place in cloner. done - i also use root 66 (10 ml per...

    Cloning - Aeroponic vs. Bubbler

I use an ez cloner and have consistent results. cut the clone, dip in root tech and put in the ez cloner. done there are couple of things to take into consideration. - must make sure that temp in the ez-cloner stays cool. (i keep mine around 73 with the help of a chiller) During cooler seasons...

Aero Bucket, turning your DWC into a hybrid

Earl, I just flipped my aero to 12/12 with the conny. 200 ml each of a&b in 40 gal rez. Using 70% ro water, with 30% tap due to seasonal changes in water, which causes the RO ph to drop to + or - 6.4 (with nutrients added to straight RO, solution mix ends up at 5). This gave me a ppm of...

Aero Bucket, turning your DWC into a hybrid

Earl, how did you like the AN conny? I have been using DM gold, but local shop has been really pushing the AN line of products especially conny. Just curious if you used it as a standalone (a&b only), or if you included other additives (bb, b-52, etc.) They talked me into getting the conny...

What are your nute PPM levels everyone?

why do you drop ppm during the phase when you can give the most aggressive feeding? That doesn't make sense. Flushing/straight for 2 weeks is entirely too long for aero. They still eat.

What are your nute PPM levels everyone?

1000 ppm = 1.42 ec 500 ppm = .71 ec 2900 ppm still amazes me. What is the ppm of your tap water? if your using tap. Just mixed some botaincare 800ml of pro bloom and 400 ml of karma in a 40 gal rez and got 1000ppm (with tap water at 260ppm) it's just amazing.

What are your nute PPM levels everyone?

if your running the aero, don't be greedy. Better to be safe than sorry. start low around 500 week 1 and work up to 1000 week 4. Some strains can take more than others, but maxing out around 1000 is safe for majority. Remember that with food constantly available, the ppm don't have to be that...

Aeroponic issues....Need help from Aero users.

stinkb: rez size is unimportant, but I was trying to guage how much nutrients you were using to obtain that number. I have used botaincare before in 40 gallon rez w/ 1600 bloom, 700 karma and 500 sweet. ppm was never greater than 1500. I am just curious how you are getting that very...

advice plz for my aeroponic propagator

first test your water with your ppm meter. This will tell you where you are starting before adding any nutrients. ppm should be kept low 400 or less. because you are using rockwool moisture will be retained better and therefore will only need to be sprayed intermitently as you stated. get...
