sorry for my ignorance but what is topping?, my plants are 1.5 months old.

The plants seem over a foot tall right now, and they have been getting 24hours of light. I know they need more light but i am keeping this setup for this first grow. Is it a good time now or should I wait longer? How long?

What kind of time periods are we talking about for veging them? So its been about a month, so how long do I need to wait to get the best possible yeald?

no 4 plants, I know the rule of thumb is one plant per pot but I had too many seeds germinate and I didnt want any to die.
