Reasonably priced non-HID Vegetation light for 80x80x160cm?

I'm confused how you came up with 18 sq/ft? The footprint of the tent is 7sq/ft, The plants are trained low so maximum penetration required would be approx 15cm (6") from the top to the lowest leaf. Unless you're talking about the 120x120 tent though that's still just shy of 16sq/ft and...

Reasonably priced non-HID Vegetation light for 80x80x160cm?

Yeah I am seeing a lot of pucks & QOB's on the market, which I'm glad for since I'll be using them as supplemental lighting during flower, but $200 a puck for a veg tent could get a bit rich quickly. I have been looking at the CMH lights but my intentions of buying LED's was to slowly swap both...

Reasonably priced non-HID Vegetation light for 80x80x160cm?

Yeah, I was thinking this or another 260 but I was wondering what else might be out there with a stronger veg spectrum that I might've missed. All this time I've researched which LED's are best for full cycle or just flower, never specifically focused on veg for them so wondering if I can find...

Reasonably priced non-HID Vegetation light for 80x80x160cm?

Alright guys, I am wondering what non-hid light options I can use in my vegetative tent, it's 80x80x160cm. I want to have 4 maybe 6 plants in there during a short veg period at different stages of veg before they go to my flowering tent, but I want it so I don't have to worry about hardening...

    Is this a good light

Yeah his light setup looks clean and set up properly. Those lights aren't actually 275w just saying, they are 260w with a 240w ballast that has 10% leeway either way, but still a great light. I had two of that exact model arrive yesterday to replace another HPS

    Viparspectra PAR 450 indoor grow.

That's up to you I guess, do you want seeds or bud more? is it going to cross genetics with other strains in the same environment and are those strains compatible etc, much to consider. I usually toss my hermies and males, but I'm also in it for yield. Also, keep in mind if you do keep the...

    Viparspectra PAR 450 indoor grow.

Is it Auto? What cycle are your lights on? If it's not auto and you're on 18/6 still then nah shouldn't be able to. Those are balls though, either hermie or male, can't quite tell yet.

    Is this a good light

Yeah thats my thought too, but the retail stockists do so I suppose it could be possible but their specs seem off to me plus the notable effort put in to make sure they didn't brand it as HLG tells me it's probably garbage, if you're selling HLG lights you market them as HLG lights with the...

    Is this a good light

Are these genuine or did they give the wrong specs? Those are QB288 boards but supposedly pulling 250w? Should be 260w. I run 4 HLG 320 kits for my flower and it does perfectly fine. QB LED's are in my opinion the best LED option on the market right now, but make sure you're buying genuine...

1st time gr0wer - need some PRO tip, please!

Make sure you check the whole bud and not just the sugar leaf, the sugar leaf tends to mature a bit quicker than the actual bud. You want most of them to be milky, I like to aim for majority milky with a few little half amber trichs here and there.

Can I use a wardrobe as a grow box?

2.5 is bloody small, it is doable, but worth it? probably not. You want stealth, so you need to allow more room for ducting, carbon filters etc plus room for circulation fans, intake, lights etc. I wouldn't waste my time man, far better off using it as 2.5x1.6x6

    H.A.F. growing stink-flowers in dirt with QB's

Man I'd just settle to be able to get 4 320v2 kits without paying over $1000 in shipping and taxes -.- How do you find the 260 though? Been considering buying 4 of the XL heatsink versions instead and down the track swapping the drivers out for 320h and putting a third QB in the middle. Have a...

    Looking to try led

Just ordered 2 HLG 320 XL QB V2 kits, hopefully run a 4ftx8ft tent on 4 of them down the track. The HLG stuff looks pretty damn good, especially the simple DIY kits.

1st time gr0wer - need some PRO tip, please!

I use a $15 pH probe from my local hardware store and a water test kit for runoff, they set me back about $30 total. Don't stress too much about high tech digital testers if you're new to it, the cheapish analog testers from my experience do work and a water test kit isn't super expensive. Some...

1st time gr0wer - need some PRO tip, please!

Rather than feeling the top soil, lift the pots. You'll know when they're due for water because the pots will be less than half the weight. Invest in a pH soil tester and water test kit, they're reasonably inexpensive and can help a lot, no point giving them nutrients if they can't use it. I...

I need lights for my 6 baby plants, SOS PLEASE

You are going to struggle majorly to find LED's in your budget with quantum boards. I can't actually think of any. While they aren't quantum boards, Green Sunshine Co make the ES180, half decent but definitely isn't going to fill your space. To fill a closet that size with light you're looking...

is she dying she's dropping only 5 more days of water

That looks pretty healthy to me, especially if it's only a couple weeks from the cuttin block. Just support the tops some and it'll stop doin the Jackson lean.

    What the heck is this?

Again I apologise for the pic, it didn't help my case much. It had no legs (that I could see under a mag glass) and looked like a green cornucopia shape. Slammed it with some huge nute feeds after finally getting my ppm and ph meters to realize it had less than 100ppm and a ph of 4.6. Ph'ed...

    What the heck is this?

Leaf already burned haha. Sorry about the blurryness, I was trying to balance between zoom and focus. Sorry I probably should have given some more information, plants are indoor cab grow, I'm pretty sure they've been infected since my mate gave em to me, I've had nothing but pest problems, I've...
