Hey i was wondering if i water my plant prolly once or twice a week with water and molasses plus MG Bloom Buster or whatever its called. Will that be too much for my plant to handle or how should i play this?

My plant is about 3 weeks into flowering and i have been told if you spray insecticide on your plant while it is flowering it adds a bad taste to the bud. So i was wondering what i can use to not harm the plant and still keep the bugs down? anything i can buy at a hardware store or homeade stuff?
