I never go over 500 ppm on my grow, most of the time im at 300-400 ppm with 5.8 ph at 65 deg in the res.

In a aero 60 I run 400ppm TDS,any more and it burns the plants with GH 3 part and a few blom boosters in the las few weeks and pull a little over 4 lbs with 13 plants. 3600 watts of light.

I use a aero 60 with 2 air stones and never had any problems with my grows with root rot.
