COBs are my choice. If considering QBs, personally, I would do a Youtube search for HLG QBs, or Quantum Boards cannabis. See how the QBs perform and under what circumstances. Your thinking is in the right direction...COBs/QBs. Just a thought. Cheers. Success w/ya grow!!!

Nice rig ya got going. My only suggestion would be to bring the COBs in 1.5" to 2"from the sides. Losing light footprint to the sides of the tent. For vegging....if no dimming available, keep height min. 18"-24". Lookin good!!! Just my opinion. Success w/ya grow!!! Stay safe!!!

In your position, yes, I would, and have in the past, run a 1k ballast (dimmable) HPS/MH and veg 400/600MH, start flower at 600 then switch to 1k. It's a process, once you get the garden started you'll learn and improve w/time. All the research is at your finger tips. Success w/ya grow!!!
