My experience is that having a veg and flower tent just doesn't work, especially if you are being tight with time. If you start and finish 4 nice sized plants per tent, with 8 weeks veg from seed/cutting, 2 weeks change to 12/12 and 10 weeks of flower then you'll be harvesting 4 nicely vegged...

I use 4 x 270 chromes and a 600w Hps in a 1.2x1.2x2.0 tent. It's a bit over a 1000w HPS but i'd much rather use the LED's for the added spectrum, and the heat isn't so bothersome. Is your intake air from outside? If it's outside air you're pulling in and it's still to hot then unless your house is cooler it won't make any kind of difference unless you use some kind of AC.
