a 250 the bulb will always draw its rated power! no poblem any time. what do you currently use and how are you finding it?

i would say if it was ok when he used it and the ballast is still working then its ok to use, normaly a 150w ballast would give up after a month or two with a 250w bulb.

The ballast will prob be 150w if it came with a 150w ignitor, should think he just brought a 250w bulb, i would see if you can find any part numbers on the ballast and google it to see if you can find out any more about it, if the ballast is a 150w i would put a 150w bulb back in it. have you...
