hey guys plants are over 2 months old went through hell n back just getting these started. the roots no matter what dont want to go in the water. they pull out easy n are a lil slimey. i just killed this plant n im tempted to get rid of the other 2 n start over.

ya idk i thought maybe the ph of 5.3 was too low so i raised it to 5.8. something is up with my water, not a clue what tho. i wonder if its my garbage can im storing my RO water in.

i know ive done single stand alone buckets last year and they werent shy thy doce right in the water, these plants are 2 months old.. nothing but problems with them. its my first rdwc run so idk new strain as well.

i read that bleach works good in rdwc? but i believe you are right

ok i did the opposite lmao i lowered my water.. im gonna do a full on rez change cleaning tonight, n ill raise the water lvl seen they got some 35% hydrogen peroxide at walmart, will swing by after work and give that a try.

about an inch under the netpots, i have a 700 gph pump running inline pulling back into the rez

its like the roots are scared to submerge themselves

hey guys, ill post a few pics but had a few questions about what defficiency i gots. and my roots arent growing into the water their growing like outwards from the netpot. before i remember the roots just loved being in the water from.another grow. heres some info 25 gal system rdwc gh flora...

although i tried adding nutes to my tap water, the ph stays at a solid 7 no matter how often i adjust it... im gonna try refilling my rez with ro again n hopefully my new roots dont die off

im not so sure about that, i repotted them up higher in the pellets n stopped handwatering and i got little fishbone roots as i call them already. it was definitely misusing of the RO water which is weird cuz last time i had no issue with ro, mustve been beginners luck lol.

just straight up tap water, been seeing new roots shoot out of the netpot everyday now, i will add nutes probably today. just trying to figure out why they didnt like my RO water.

**** update switched my res to plain ol tap water n the roots are flying out now.. not sure why the RO wasnt working .

was just thinking as well.... i had my seedlings in rapid rooters and they had good roots and were growing good. but then i placed them in my system it almost seemed to completely stunt them. i put just a 1 rock thick layer of hydroton on the bottom of the netpot then put my rapid rooter on...

i agree with the above post. i just set up a rdwc with these same totes. i held them up to a regular lightbulb n it penetrated right through it. i spraypainted them black and it made a great difference.

thanks i readjusted my nutes. flushed my system and did 250 ppm of cal mag n then gh trio up to 340. been about 6 hours there now and they look ok.

i was watering them 3x a day lol they had long roots coming out the bottom. dried up quick tho.
