Thanks, I think it was Mike Young who described it as a giant PC case grow. I liked that description.

Yes, I'm using them in my cloner with the .8 DIG misters you found. I wouldn't want to have used them when I was setting up, the JG connectors make it easy to re-plumb which is important when you are getting your setup put together for the first time. If you were building multiple chambers...

I think the concensus is to use the JG tubing, (the black is UV resistant) I haven't seen any 1/4 PEX but I think someone found it online somewhere Pre-charge the accumulator 2 lbs below the cut-in pressure you have your diferential pressure switch set for, if the 100lbs is that cut in pressure...

Constructing a Homebrew Atomix Air-Atomized Aeroponic System

Yeah, shipping is a disadvantage to living on a volcanic rock in the middle of the ocean, but as I sit here cold and listening to it rain for the whole day I'm having trouble feeling your pain  I'm in week 4 of flower in the same setup I was using before my summer break, it's a strain...

Constructing a Homebrew Atomix Air-Atomized Aeroponic System

Did the guy at the glass shop offer you cotton fiber strands as well? They can increase the strength of your build for very little extra cash. I'll be interested to see how your floor works out without a full foundation for the glass. Ideally you'd cut a 2" piece diagonally to get the slope...

Testing the Aerolife True HPA AA (Air Atomized) System -First run

No root shots this time, the new chamber needs some kind of observation port, I could barely look inside to see once the girls hit the screen and after trimming all that small shit I didn't care enough to take any post harvest pics. Only other thing of note was that even copying the canna...

Testing the Aerolife True HPA AA (Air Atomized) System -First run

No he hasn't said anything in a while ;-) Summer has arrived here so I'm done growing until the fall. I finished my second run a few weeks ago, only about 4 oz of Super lemon haze for the run. Didn't get much streatch at all so it was mostly smaller nugs :-( but I do like the haze.

    True HP Aero For 2011

That WW is looking good! I think taking clones might be a good idea too. How do you plan on keeping the root zone light tight? I'd like to see a setup like that that keeps the root zone dark.

    True HP Aero For 2011

Minimum order quantity (sorry) For a simple one bucket system it doesn't need to be that complicated but he ties these together and then uses an extra bucket to control the level of the water. If you look at some of his grows in his sig he does quite well. Missed this the first time..... I...

Anyone seem these? http://www.illumitex.com/horticulture-lighting.php They are custom LEDs that already do the spectrum mix for photosynthesis. I'd love to seem some for real but the MOQ is 100.

Yes, that's the idea. I have mine at the high point of the system but I'm not sure it is required. If you look at an older house the air gaps are near the cause of the hammer (usually a toilet or a washing machine) but they work even on a multi-story house.

Hydraulic shock AKA water hammer....(wiki link) The second scenario is because the pressure rises rapidly when the solenoids close. You have two choices, add a commercial water hammer arrestor or do it the way they did in the old days, build an air gap into the system. I couldn't find a...

If you hit the "reply with quote button" under the post you are responding to the software will make it pretty for you. Yep, those are the ones, I'm using them in my cloner and want to try them in a grow. If I had a local source like Mike then I'd be in more of a hurry to do a test, and Mike...

    True HP Aero For 2011

The aquatec pressure switch I have has performed well so far, a PSW280/PSW380 can be had for under $20, is adjustable from 70-100PSI cut-in pressure, have a fixed 20PSI deadband and they already have the JG fittings built in. Permeate pumps are cheaper and easier but they are noisier too, mine...

Must have gotten my nozzles on a good day, they have both the CV and a screen. I wasn't able to unclog the one that failed, and I don't think Mech has gotten one unclogged either. I've pretty much decided that once they clog they are toast. I'm still wanting to try the DIG nozzles that mike...

    Room30's HP Aero Cabinet

I'm using the CV nozzles and they do hold some pressure, not a lot but every little bit helps, I'm looking to get the best HPA setup I can so I went the extra step. Yes, the most control would be had with a solenoid at every nozzle but that's overkill to me so we are just at different places...

    Room30's HP Aero Cabinet

The picture is upside down, probably should have flipped it. The cups create the low point for drainage so there is no water left in the tub for the roots to soak in. They are clear so any roots that try and go down the drain hole should (he said hopefully) retreat once they are hit by the...
