    AK48 - 250W - First Grow

Final weight ~21.6g, they seem to be a little too ripe, should have chopped a couple days earlier. Learned a lot hope to show it on the next grow. What's the most forgiving between Trainwreck, A-Train, Burmese Kush, White Castle, Sage 'n' Sour, or Mazar. Thanks guys.

    AK48 - 250W - First Grow

She has been in the dark for 48hours then chopped. 53 days of 12:12 and she smells great. I topped so there is 2 main colas and a couple sides. I'll have weights in a week or so.

    AK48 - 250W - First Grow

She has been in the dark for 24 hours, I'm going to actually chop her after ~48 dark and let her hang for a bit. I'll get some pics up in a couple days.

Which light to grow original strains?

The first one looks cool but kinda pricey. If you want to go that route you may want to look at ledgrow.eu he has similar panels. I can't really recommend any thing since I really just started growing. Do you have a preference on country of origin? US/EU/China?

(90 + 36 diodes) LED lamp DIY questions

Get the Phillips Xitanium, I have the $15 15-18 LED driver and a 150w Phillips. It is really nice to be able to adjust the current, plus it has a 5 year warranty. Use star/pcb to mount to then mount to heatsink, makes stuff cleaner and easier. I have a little a post about my experience here...

    AK48 - 250W - First Grow

I know what you are saying, despite my best efforts she is still with me. Seems like a great strain to learn with.

    AK48 - 250W - First Grow

I really appreciate it. She is definitely more Indica. How do you compare AK48 to other strains you have grown?

    AK48 - 250W - First Grow

I'm in week 6, the info claimed it can finish in 48 days (7weeks) but I guess I have at least a couple more weeks.

    Cidly info

I'd do 2-460nm 3-10000K and 2-630nm and 8-660nm, I just really like the EVO approach. I agree on not messing with UV/IR you can do it much cheaper with supplemental bulbs.

    AK48 - 250W - First Grow

I'm starting to see some amber hairs. I'm starting final flush today and going to only use RO/moleases from now on. Anyone with experience with AK48 that can give an estimate on eta to cut down? I'm going to pick up a scope/magnifying glass tonight.

    Has it been done?

Its supposed to increase coverage ~25%. I think its hard if you run in a cool tube, I would like to see it done with LEDs.

    Chrome or go HOME!

I would do Cidly, I'm pretty sure they make them for Blackstar. I asked about 3x10000K white, 2x460nm blue and 10x660nm red per 15-led module. I wanted something very similar to the Evo but a little more blue. I was quoted $203 for an Apollo 4, $269 for Apollo 6 and $340 for Apollo 8 shipped...

    DIY Veg Light Build

I just didn't want to mess with a fan. I figure I can adjust the current until heat becomes a problem, plus at lower current the leds are more efficient. If I really wanted to push it I would do water cooling to max efficiency and min sound. I think I can use the pot as a air scrubber also...

Apollo Series LED panels from Cidly

@ The Lurker I just meant clone the EVO in the sense of using just 10000k and 660nm not the higher quality leds. That link to e.shine was pretty cool. How can we be sure they are using real Crees? I would use a less efficient led if it cost 1/5 and was 2/3 the efficiency, but I guess that's...

Apollo Series LED panels from Cidly

Yeah the new BlackStars are their "Chrome" series. I really like the modularity of the design. Plus with the Cindly you can swap out the lenses individually.
