It will work. Check out some other grow journals with CFLs to get ideas on placement and such. The more bulbs you can squeeze around your plant, the better.

Yep will definitely work without. And as long as you use a dome and keep the cuttings nice and humid, they won't take long to root.

You will definitely need the exhaust fan with the 600w. I run 2x 150w HPS bare bulbs and supplemental CFLs and my temps would easily hit 95F+ without the exhaust fan on when lights are on. I really want to throw a 600w cooltube in my tent, but I feel like even a cooltube will have trouble...
