New bud growing at tip of old bud sight?

I am about a week before harvest and I'm noticing a few central buds are starting to develop new growth at the tip of the bud up to 3/4 of an inch in length. While the bud itself is plump, the new growth is skinny and obviously useless. This is a bit of concern because the plant is...

    Safe Water Storage Question

So here is my setup, I have approximately a 10 gallon bin that I use to store my water. Inside of this bin is a pump which pumps water into my grow tent (via a flip of a switch) to water my plants. The bin is opaque black and has a black lid so no light penetrates through. Here is my issue...

Leaves turning dark/black but still looks healthy. What's going on? (Includes Pic)

The plants are held in Beer Cups I've yet to use nutrients I give a thorough watering every 4 days. The PH was for the soil not the water. I leave the water to sit in a bin over night to remove and Cl- I'm also using a LED light eq. to a 400W MH bulb and 2 150W CFLs in the 5000K range.

Leaves turning dark/black but still looks healthy. What's going on? (Includes Pic)

Temp is low of 70F to a high of 82F. Soil has 0.4-0.4-0.4 for nutrients ph levels are 7 RH of 33% Plant is supposed to be pineapple kush but that cannot be verified. It's only one plant that is doing this, so it's a bit out of the ordinary.

Leaves turning dark/black but still looks healthy. What's going on? (Includes Pic)

Not sure if this is a problem or not but one of my two and a half week old plants has turned a darkish/black on the two bottom leaves. Is this odd? Also is it a good idea to cut the bottom leaves off a 2-3 weeks old plant because they're looking yellowish to divert growth to other leaves? (See...

Light intensity question for seedlings and yellow spots

Hey guys, I'm trying out my new setup and I'm questioning if the amount of light is too intense for my plants. They seem to be fairing out good so far but one of my plants is having a bit of an issue and I don't want it to pass on to the healthly ones. From the first picture below you can see...

    Troubles in seedling town.

The problem was in the soil. It has zero water retention, hence why it always seemed like it needed watering. Did an emergency transplant and a few are already recovering. View the following link on a little study on the soil. http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/seed/msg0414330728717.html

    Troubles in seedling town.

The growth seems low for 9 days. Should I transplant into the better potting soil that I have? Would that be too much strain on the plants? I'm worriesld that if I don't try something different I'm going to lose them. Any help would be appreciated!

    Troubles in seedling town.

The soil is jiffy pot planting mix. It's a really lightweight soil and it seems to dry out really quickly. I am watering with tap water that has sat overnight to get rid of the chlorine. It's the same water that I used to germinate my seeds. It's been about 10 days since I planted the...

    Troubles in seedling town.

Hello, I'm having an issue with my marijuana seedlings. Leaves are curling, cotyledons are turning yellow or in one case brown/burnt off, stunted growth and the stems are thinning and turning darker. Essentially my plants are wilting. I'm assuming I'm over watering but the soil is quite dry...

Thank you! Hopefully going to make it to the hydroponics store after work some time this week. Great set up by the way! Gave me a few ideas for waste water collection.

    Question: Hydraulic head/Watering Plants

I'm using a pump and a timer actually. It's being used to fill the reservoir because it pumps at a rate of 1350 GPH so it's a bit too strong to use on plants. The idea of the gravity fed reservoir was to have a slow water feed. I do like the idea of having drip emitters. I may be able to...

    Question: Hydraulic head/Watering Plants

I'm designing a self sustaining watering system that uses a water reservoir and 1/4'' tubing. The reservoir is aprox. 5 feet above plant level and the tubing (from the reservoir to the plants) is split with tees and manifold unions such that each individual plant has tubing fed directly into...
