Thanks RIU! I credit this site for being my top reference guide while i learned how to grow with CFLs 5 years ago. I went from a semi newbie growing decent looking plants to harvesting/drying curing incorrectly with minimal yield (like an ounce off a 3 foot plant). I always was too paranoid...

So i wont be home to deal with my lights going off today, i usually have to close up any light leaks beofre going to total darkness. I would do that early but my boxes get way too hot ... My question is it better to turn lights off 3 hours early or to keep them on am turn them off 3 hours late...

thought this was a good thread explaining when to transfer buds into jars, what to look for other then "when the stem snaps". I know when i started out that whole process was a bit hazy no matter how much i read up on it cuz everything said the same thing. This explains it a tad differently...
