regardless, the goal is to hit saturation point, be it 1 sec or 1 min.

    Aeroponics Water Cycle

1 click on (50 seconds) 7 clicks off (50 seconds x 7 ..so 350 seconds off) I am still playing with my off time trying to see what the plants like best. My current setup will drain-to-waste a 5gal reservoir in a week. I may shorten the off time here soon, just watching the roots first to see how...

    Aeroponics Water Cycle

Cereall, the timer in the link does not have 40 min intervals, it has 50 second intervals. 48 pins that you can flip up or down that takes 40 mins to turn through all 48 pins, over and over again, so you can set it up to do just about any aero set up. Plus its mechanical so its less likely to...

    Aeroponics Water Cycle

Agree for a good starting point. Check your roots and see if you need to make the cycle shorter or longer. I am misting 15ml with 1 on 7 off on the timer in the link. I am set up with a drain to waste operation. working very nice!

    An Atomizer for Aero

It's an illusion, they are singular droplets, and moving in circular currents so the camera blends them. You can get an idea of the size though. The root structures are finally gaining some steam, the plants def. did not enjoy their dirt to aero move, lol!

    Aeroponics Water Cycle

If you have a real aero system, your def. not going it run it 24/7. If your fogging than sure... why not. If it is aero, you hit your saturation point, than shut off and feed again in a few mins, look at ur plants and either shorten or lengthen the cycle. If you dont know what im talking about...

    An Atomizer for Aero

Not sure which bit your talking about, the one in the photo I uploaded doesn't have any teeth. The one Atomizer uploaded does. Intresting though, please upload your project! I would love to see. I work with the people that put the first one together and they have switched over to a new motor...

    An Atomizer for Aero

Ok, so I am on board with the volume of water need each misting. My follow up is how often do you mist this and second, is their any need to have a return to the reservoir? Last, 2 part q here, if we misted .014oz every min, that comes out to be about 20oz a day. Is their any need to flush my...

    My New AeroSystem!

Its a 14gal tote with 6x 3" net pots and a rotary atomizer in the middle sitting on top of a 7gal reservoir tote for my nutrients. There is a pump in the bottom tote that pumps water to the atomizer, currently misting 4oz every ten minutes, and holes in the bottom of the 14 gal tote for any...

    An Atomizer for Aero

Hey Atomizer! I did the math on my set up and I am misting 4oz every click on my 48 pin growcolt timer. You stated maximum saturation its at .001oz a gal going off your .03oz for 30gal numbers. That for my 14gal tote comes out to be 0.014oz until maximum saturation, that number is so small, its...

    Fuzzy Roots

This reminds me alittle of epigenetics, once the plant has been grown a certain way for some time, the genes it has turned on represent it's current form and moving it do a different grow setup would force it to express previous genes. Anyways, that answered my question about the root hairs...

    Fuzzy Roots

I was curious to know about how the root structures differ in hyrdro, aero, fog etc. I posted a picture of some of my roots comming through and just wanted to know if there is any difference in the way the roots grow with different set ups.

So here is a picture of the first root sprouts after a dirt to aero transplant, day 3, pretty rough for the plant but all six are pulling through very nicely and growing.

    Compost tea?

I use to make it and substitute it for the lack of P and K in my 35gal aquaponic setup when I got to fruiting stage. Btw, aquaponics is my absolute favorite way of growing. The way I made it was called BSF composting. I had a tote with a filter and drain. I would fill it up with half dirt and...
