    Odd Taste in my Butter

No shit man...I think most would be in la la land off some 6oz to 3/4lb butter ratio. Might be fun as long as you don't have to be anywhere for about 18 hours.

    Odd Taste in my Butter

That is crazy! You are saying 3/4lb of butter to 3oz of weed? None of the recipes I have seen call for that ratio.

    Odd Taste in my Butter

I think I am going to add my 3/4lb of butter that I have left to triple the water and let it seperate again. Maybe do this a couple more times to see if it will help. What do you guys think? I am definitely doing the crock pot over the weekend. I have about 2 oz of trim left. I may use it all...

    Odd Taste in my Butter

Why is that no matter what it is if cream cheese is added it automatically sounds delicious. This recipe sounds awesome!

    Odd Taste in my Butter

Thanks for all the tips everyone. So basically just dump my butter in stock pot. Add a little more water than the amount of butter and simmer for how long? Will an hour work? Then do this a few more times to get the burnt/nasty taste out? I think I will just do the crock pot method next time...

    Odd Taste in my Butter

I did use a double boiler. I used a glass bowl above a pot of boiling water. I kept adding water to ensure it didn't dry out and cause any extreme heat. The only odd ball is that I baked it for 7 minutes at 275F to make sure it was dry.

    Odd Taste in my Butter

I think you might be right here. The butter looks like right color, but has that burnt taste. Oh well it works great. Trial and error I guess.

    Odd Taste in my Butter

I know I should always cure...however this was an experiment. I cure my smoke for 30 days before it even comes out of the jars. Does anyone know what would cause that extreme burnt flavor? It even has an odd odor. I will tell you that it definitely worked. Great long lasting body buzz with an...

    Odd Taste in my Butter

So I just finished up a harvest and have never made butter. I had my trim drying in a carboard box for a few days. It was nice and crispy, however some of the small popcorn buds I put in the mix were not 100% dry, but close. I took the trim and buds and put it in the oven on 275F for 7...

    Slight Burn with Humboldt Gravity

Thanks for the info. These ladies are Big Buddha. I can't see them taking that long, but you may be right. The flowers are just clustering together to form large cola's. I think I will add a week to the cycle. I was gonna flush in week 9, but like you said I will have to let mother nature tell...

    Slight Burn with Humboldt Gravity

1 Tsp is 5ml. At 1ml per gallon (I have around 4 gallons of water in the bucket) that would be 4 ml. 3/4tsp is actually slightly lower than the lower end of the 1-2ml recommendation. It's not 1-2ml per liter, it clearly says 1-2 per gallon. I am starting to think my PPM might be way too high. I...

    Slight Burn with Humboldt Gravity

So here is my current flower regime. I am in week 5 and have a slight yellowing issue on larger fan leaves. I think Gravity is the culprit here. These ladies are in 5 gallon buckets under a 1000 watt HPS with a Raptor hood. I have the cola's at least 14 inches from the light. GH: Grow, Micro...

From seed tray to veg table...in rockwool

Thanks man! I actually just opened the hole a little wider and popped em in. It was hard not to smash them a little, but it looks like it turned out ok.

From seed tray to veg table...in rockwool

I think I may need to take a couple pics of how large the root system is already. I may have to remove the outer plastic wrap, slice the larger cube in half and lay the 1.5 inch inside it. Then put the plastic wrap back on it. I hate now knowing what I am doing. Switching mediums has been a...

From seed tray to veg table...in rockwool

Ok so while I am no newb, I am new to flood and drain tables. My seedlings are about 4 inches tall and some have 3 nodes. The nodes are a couple centimeters apart. The seedlings are in 1.5 inch rockwool cubes in my tray with dome. I have roots out the bottom of the rockwool about 3-5 inches long...

    I need some clones...

Is anyone in the holiday spirit and has some extra clones they need to get rid of? I am close to max, but need a few more. Happy Holidays Everyone! JD

    Seed help!

So I started some new seeds 4 days ago in rockwool. Its been 4 days and I smell a faint moldy odor inside my dome. Here is how I do it. I soak the cubes in ph 5.5 nutrient solution at a very very low ppm just like the packaging says. I shaked off excess water, did not squeeze at all. I placed...

    Paint Question

Thanks guys! I thought so, but you never know. Usually someone responds with some hardcore scientific data showing light refraction and the universe!

    Paint Question

I guess more of a reflective question. I built my grow room with moisture resistant drywall (green board). Everything has been sealed with spray foam insulation. I mud and taped the seams and did some light sanding. Its not a wall that I will be hanging a Picasso on so I figure I don't need to...
