One thing you could try, is some oil-based KILLZ. As a painter/sheetrocker for a living, I have wound up in many situations like yours and the oil-base seems to work. Be warned, though, the oil-based KILLZ stinks! Leave the window open for a couple of days and you can still smell the stuff...

I did use the double sided foam on the wood. I stuck and un-stuck the screen so many times trying to get it perfect, that I finally said "F it, good enough!" My next one will be much better. Thanks for all of your help!

No problem. I think the stainless would be the cats ass. The silk seems to shed little silk hairs on the first few run throughs. I used silk because that was all I could find in town. I am not patient enough to wait on the mail when ordering things online. Best of luck on the building project!

Here are pics of what I use. Got the plans from a guy named Ocanabis at the thcfarmer website then modified it to work for me. Seems to work pretty good and only cost me about $15. Not sure how good it is for the drill, though.

In my experience it all depends on light. If you have three or four HID lights then fill it up leaving enough room to get around and water. If you only have one you may want to stick with just a few.

HPS is definetely the best. The only things I would be concerned with would be heat and room. If you could vent the light with a strong enough fan that might be ok. Its pretty small dimensions and most HPS reflectors are around 7-9 inches deep. Then when you figure in your pot or planter...
