Harvest a Pound Every Three Weeks!

One thing you could try, is some oil-based KILLZ. As a painter/sheetrocker for a living, I have wound up in many situations like yours and the oil-base seems to work. Be warned, though, the oil-based KILLZ stinks! Leave the window open for a couple of days and you can still smell the stuff...

Groing in soil at the minute but thinking of changeing ideas help and info please

Here is a good DIY. This is also the system I use. Very easy to follow tutorial but the thread contains alot of BS to sort through. It should give you something else to consider. I just adapted his ideas to my legal limits. Way easier than dirt and uses less water. Here's the link...

    Flush before harvest

The white widow I have grown in the past turns orange on the hairs pretty quick into flowering. Usually has been in week 6 or 7. In my opinion, you still have a few weeks. My ww fan leaves turned yellow about two weeks before finish. I usually feed straight water the last two weeks so that...

600 hps bulbs ... help with a brand..

According to last month's High times, sun pulse's kelvin rated bulbs are the only bulbs compatible with electronic/digital ballasts. They say all other bulbs burn out prematurely, some don't last half as long as they should. I have always used the sunmaster bulbs with great results though...

    Properly Cooling

I would like to say first, that I am no expert in this. With that said, maybe I can describe my setup to help you make a decision. I use a 5x6 wide and 6ft tall tent with a 600hps cooltube. The light is vented but still puts off some heat. The room is vented sucking out, with a 150cfm fan, and...

    I love Montana

Very well put. I have lived all thirty of my years on a farm in the southwestern part of the state. Boy has it changed. I never used to lock my truck, until a few years ago, when some a**hole decided he needed the shotgun inside worse than I did. Just wanted to add that my just turned five...

    DIY: Kief sifter box

I did use the double sided foam on the wood. I stuck and un-stuck the screen so many times trying to get it perfect, that I finally said "F it, good enough!" My next one will be much better. Thanks for all of your help!

    DIY: Kief sifter box

I tried and tried to get the screen tight, but, that was as tight as I could get it and I got sick of trying with no better results each time. I have some ideas on how I can get it tighte next time. The drill just barely creeps along. That is why I don't think the batteries will last that...

    DIY: Kief sifter box

No problem. I think the stainless would be the cats ass. The silk seems to shed little silk hairs on the first few run throughs. I used silk because that was all I could find in town. I am not patient enough to wait on the mail when ordering things online. Best of luck on the building project!

    DIY: Kief sifter box

picked the screen up at the local college bookstore. It is 12xx silk screen. Has 124 weaves per inch. The circles are cut out of 1/2" plywood held together by pieces of 1/4"all-thread. Check out ocanabis's post at www.thcfarmer.com He uses a bbq rotiserie and has one of the best step-by-step...

    DIY: Kief sifter box

Here are pics of what I use. Got the plans from a guy named Ocanabis at the thcfarmer website then modified it to work for me. Seems to work pretty good and only cost me about $15. Not sure how good it is for the drill, though.

    LED Advise Needed

Check out www.gothamhydroponics.com They have a good variety of products, are based out of the U.S., and are the only company that offers 1, 2, and 3 watt led chipsets. They also have uv and infared led's on their flowering models. This supposedly triggers flowering faster. The only bad...

How many would you put in?

In my experience it all depends on light. If you have three or four HID lights then fill it up leaving enough room to get around and water. If you only have one you may want to stick with just a few.

    Should I go HPS?

HPS is definetely the best. The only things I would be concerned with would be heat and room. If you could vent the light with a strong enough fan that might be ok. Its pretty small dimensions and most HPS reflectors are around 7-9 inches deep. Then when you figure in your pot or planter...

what the hell is wrong with crazy billings people?

it is and always has been the last best place. The problem, as i see it, is all the narrow minded "old timers" who are so ignorant they will never accept change. I am born and raised in this state by a narrow minded, old timer, farmer for a father. They have no problem making moonshine on the...

Adding supplemental lights to the floor of the flowering room

Never tried them on the floor. I put three "300" watt led lights on the sides of my flower room (they only draw around 250 watts.) I did this in conjunction with a 600 watt hps. It made the plants much bushier without having to fight with stretching so much. Try it though and let everyone know...
