Hmm -- just learning like everyone else but isn't 74 to 78 ideal temps in the room- had no idea that it could stay that hot at all times. Any more input would be more appreciated.

I'm no scientist but isn't 88 degrees too hot for any part of the room?? as far as haw far from plants 12-15"- depends upon how hot the plant gets- place your hand on top of plants if it's comfy for you it's comfy for them.
