thanks for all the replies guys, it's reassuring to know you guys have success with a hps throughout the whole grow cycle. i guess the first 2 weeks aren't really ideal for a HID and might cause a little stretching as in my case. But im sure after 2 weeks they will love the HID.

i don't know but i'm getting stretching from my 400hps, i even made a thread about it looking for people who veg with hps and had success. You say you have your light at 3 feet away, thats how far i have mine and i still get stretching, i just lowered to 26 inch, well see if this helps.

you are completely right, all these guys have a hippie dream and living in some fantasy world that will never ever come true, finally some one that sees the truth and reality and works with it.

green crack and blue dream is amazing for anxiety and depression, both are very uplifting highs. The only thing i don't like about sativas are you gotta be smoking a bowl every hour to maintain a no crash feel, the crash is pretty heavy with sativas for me if i don't smoke every hour.

i got about 6 feet by 3 1/2 feet width and about 8 feet height to work with, ya the widow is a hybrid and the AK48 is a hybrid too but its more predominantly indica around 65/35 i believe. So you guys think 10 inch is a good height b4 flower ? thanks
