i have 2 bag seed plants about a month and ahalf old and when i water them there are little worms that seem to be in the soil and move around when the water puddles, can anyone tell me if this is a good or a bad thing?

due to the way my setup is on of my lights had fallen over while i was sleeping and it damaged one of the branches. The stem that the leaf was on is shrivaled and i need to know if this can be fixed or not?

could this be water burn or insects or could it be something else? thanks
