if you are comparing 2x600 vs 2x1000 in terms of heat produced..then I would go with 2x1000 since they both would nearly produce the same total heat radiated to ur room..give or take around +-5C for (600Wvs100W)heat+ballast heat...sometimes i change my bulb from 1000W to 400W for a new grow...

thanks for reply, yes i did clibrate it to make sure...0 ppm for distilled water/135ppm for my tap water.. When do i know that my plants need nutes? i only fear to under feed it..and i dont know when to start feeding my plants are 3 months old and still at 13-15 inches tall..i feed top feed...
