    It's mulch on top of the soil.. soil is ffof mixed with happy frog 1:1 and some added bone meal and all purpose fert 5:5:5

    The drooping could very well be transplant shock and the yellowing could be from nitrogen deficiency. Pics and more details like grow medium would help a lot man

    In my experience, the soil cam stay moist for long periods of time and never cause problems even if it doesn't fully dry out. The problems come when the soil is water logged and people keep dumping more water in thinking they aren't watering enough.. I don't like letting my soil completely day...

    Yea I can see that, it is very easy to grow in ffof.. I would make my own soil and go all organic but I'm not in my own home so I can't really go much further than small scale grows so I haven't done much else yet. I have read a lot on composting and making teas so I'm prepared once I do have room!
